If you really wish to enjoy the colourful festival, it is imperative that you lend your ears to Holi Mein Bawaal. DJ Sheizwood, Vishal Srivastav & Kunwar Juneja continue to put in a variety of colours in this Holi song, mixing classical and folk, and different melodies and beats, all blending beautifully with the chorus.

Avi Pandey of Mediamax Entertainment says "Holi means colors, brightness, fun, and ecstasy and so does Holi Mein Bawaal.  As much as it is impossible to stay away from colours on this day, so is to restrain yourself from grooving to this song"

DJ Sheizwood says" Holi Mein Bawaal is all about layering and exploring the rich music and fine nuances while keeping the pure heart of fun associated with the festival. Traditional holy music seems to be losing its presence in Indian music scenes. Through this song we want to remind people about the beauty of traditional holi music & give them their Holi song of 2023"

Vishal Srivastav says "I am sure no Holi party will be complete without this song, it will be a part of everyone's Holi playlist. I had a lot of fun while recording this song. Infact we have already played Holi while making this song but we want to celebrate the festival with our fans also"

Kunwar Juneja says "What is Holi without a signature festive song that heightens the vibrancy of the festival of colours?  As we gear up to bring in the festival this year, here's presenting Holi Mein Bawaal"

This extremely vibrant and energetic song will remain in our hearts forever.

Holi ke rang swadisht pakwaano ke sang!

Holi, the festival of colours, symbolises the vivid and colourful spirit and great enthusiasm. People smear colours on each other’s faces and indulge in delicious delicacies and beverages. This year &TV artists intend to play Holi in high spirits and prepare the finest Holi delicacies popular in their hometowns. And what's more, they reveal these secret recipes to us! These include Neha Joshi (Yashoda) from Doosri MaaYogesh Tripathi (Daroga Happu Singh) from Happu ki Ultan PaltanShubhangi Atre (Angoori Bhabi) from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai. Neha Joshi, essaying Yashoda in &TV’s Doosri Maa, says, “Although I am from Maharashtra, this year my festive celebrations will be in the pink city, Jaipur. I truly enjoy the festive vibe even though I don’t particularly enjoy playing with colours. So, I plan to explore the city and witness its festive spirits at their best at the Elephant Festival. The festival is celebrated during Holi, where elephants are dressed in rugs and ornamented with pretty accents and jewels. Their bodies and trunks get painted, and a procession of elephants passes through the streets. A band plays songs and drums to signify the festive mood. Even though I look forward to participating in this unique festival, I will miss my mother, Puran Poli. In Maharashtra, there is a tradition of making puran poli on that day. It is a sweet, fried flatbread stuffed with a filling of yellow gram and sugarcane jaggery.

It points to the festival’s agrarian origins as a harvest festival. I love it so much that I can't resist eating it all day (laughs). I have decided to make it myself this year and serve it to my extended family here. I wish everyone a joyful Holi."Yogesh Tripathi, essaying Daroga Happu Singh, says, “It is my favourite festival of the year. I am from Uttar Pradesh, where Holi is a two-day festival celebrated with zeal and zest. Apart from playing with colours and throwing water at each other, eating gujiya (sweet) is my favourite thing to do on this day. It is a classic North Indian sweet made of crisp, flaky pastry filled with khoya (milk solids) and nuts. This year I will be preparing gujiya myself. I will also play colours with my wife and kids in our building. During Holi, our society's swimming pool gets filled with coloured water. I will spend as much time in the pool as possible with my son since he is excited about it. Hamare sabhi darshako ko holi ki dhero shubhkaamnaye.” Shubhangi Atre essaying Angoori Bhabi, shares, “I prepare a lot of sweets and snacks for my friends every year to celebrate the festival, and this year will be no different. I will prepare some treats from Bhopal, my hometown. On my list are gujiyas, jalebis, besan ke laddoos, chakli, and Bhakarwadis. Additionally, my daughter has planned some interesting games for our guests to play around the festival, and I am quite excited about them. Have a wonderful and safe Holi.”

Haste aur Muskurate raho with &TV!

International Day of Happiness is celebrated every year on March 20th to make people worldwide realize the importance of happiness in their lives. Spreading this very happiness into audiences’ life &TV has these two popular comedy shows Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai and Happu Ki Ultan Paltan. The lead artists from these shows talk about the importance of happiness and how these shows have spread joy and laughter into people's lives. These include Yogesh Tripathi (Daroga Happu Singh) and Kamna Pathak (Rajesh) from Happu Ki Ultan PaltanVidisha Srivastava (Anita Bhabi), and Aasif Sheikh (Vibhuti Narayan Mishra) from Bhabiji Ghar Par HaiKamna Pathak, essaying Rajesh in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shares, There is a saying that If You Want to Be Happy, Try to Make Someone Else Happy.’ The truth is, making someone happy takes a lot of effort and is not easy. It's not just about making funny faces or expressions or cracking jokes. It is about creating relatable moments or dialogues that strike a chord. Our show, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, has achieved this successfully. Each character's personality and catchphrases caught up beautifully with the audience and entertained them. And we feel blessed to have been that medium in spreading so much joy and laughter into their lives. As we celebrate International Day of Happiness, let us remind ourselves to appreciate the little things that make us happy and to express our gratitude for the people who make our lives more enjoyable. Happiness is all around you, so busk yourself in these moments and smile.” Aasif Sheikh, aka Vibhuti Narayan Mishra of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, shares, “Bringing happiness into someone's life is one of the greatest gifts anyone can give. Every actor dreams of playing a character that makes a difference in someone's life. I feel fortunate that our audience has appreciated and enjoyed each of these characters, bringing smiles to their faces. My character, Vibhuti Narayan Mishra, in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, allows me to accomplish the task of making the audience laugh and get entertained. It gives me tremendous satisfaction and happiness. It's a blessing for me to be a source of joy for others. And as an artist, I think relieving the audience of their stress for a while is an excellent way to help them feel happy and healthy. There are lots of big and worrying issues in our world right now. We can’t always change what is happening but we can choose how we respond. So let us choose to create a happier and kinder world. Count the good things in your life and give yourself reasons to be cheery on this joyful occasion of International Happiness Day.”

Yogesh Tripathi, aka Daroga Happu Singh from Happu Ki Ultan Paltanshares, “The best way to live a happy life is to find humour in everyday problems. It not only makes the situation more enjoyable, but it also lessens tension. Whenever I am on set practising my lines, I ask myself, "Will this entertain my audience? Is it funny enough?". After a hard day at work, everyone wants to unwind and have a moment of happiness. So, it is more of a responsibility for us to deliver this happiness to them daily! And it makes us happy to see our audience smiling through our show. I feel so proud that people expect me to get them to laugh in my Happu tone wherever I go, and I love to say, "Aree dada”. I feel fortunate to give our audience such fun moments. Our show has already completed its four years, and I wish it to continue forever so that we can spread Happiness in their lives forever. International Happiness Day inspires us to spread joy and happiness to live happier, more fulfilling lives.”

Vidisha Srivastavaessaying Anita Bhabi in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, says, “If you have the power to make someone happy, do it. The world needs more of that. People are so engrossed with work and stressed that they forget to live in the moment and stay happy. But as an actor, I feel responsible for making them happy and comfortable watching our show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai. It feels wonderful and fulfilling when your character or show makes even a minor difference in their lives, such as making them smile when they are sad. And I am glad Anita, as a character, has been doing it for the last one year. Anita is bold and beautiful, so I believe people can relate to her and find it enjoyable. An actor lives for this moment. I count myself lucky to provide such enjoyable experiences for our audience. International Happiness Day is a gentle reminder to seize the opportunity to maintain our happiness and health to prolong our lives.”

Yashoda & Krishna reach Haridwar-Rishikesh in search of Ashok

&TV's family drama Doosri Maa never fails to entertain its viewers with interesting plot twists and turns. In the show, Ashok (Mohit Dagga) goes missing after his wife, Yashoda (Neha Joshi), learns that Krishna (Aayudh Bhanushali) is his and Mala's (Nidhi Uttam) child. While everyone is looking for him, Yashoda and Krishna set out on a journey to find Ashok. This journey takes them through the lanes and ghats of the holy towns of Haridwar and Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. They learn he was last seen here, and in his grief, he has decided to become a hermit and leave everything behind to repent.

Neha Joshi essaying Yashodasays, “Yashoda is living through the most difficult time of her life after discovering that Krishna is her husband's illegitimate child. And as she struggles to accept the truth, Ashok, her biggest supporter, goes missing. Viewers will see Yashoda embark on a journey with Krishna to find him. The journey may be emotional on-screen, but I had a lot of fun shooting off-screen. Shooting in holy cities like Haridwar and Rishikesh was a blissful experience. Our mornings would be waking up to the sounds of bells on the banks of the Ganga Ghats—a beautiful way to begin our day that would bring a positive vibe. People around us instantly recognized us and would approach us to take selfies and compliment us on our show and characters. It truly made our day interacting in person with our audience, who would gather around our sets, watch the shoot and get us homemade food at times to taste. These small gestures made a huge difference to us. We thoroughly enjoyed these beautiful moments. Even though it was my visit to Uttarakhand, I must say, their people’s warmth and affection made us feel special, and we hope to keep coming back for more.” Aayudh Bhanushali, aka Krishna, shares, “Yashoda Maa and I arrived in Uttarakhand to bring my father, Ashok, home. We had a great time shooting this significant track in the beautiful city. We explored the city as much as we could during our limited stay there. We shot at popular places like Har Ki Pauri, Ram Jhula, and Laxman Jhula. I had only heard about these places but had never been there. During the visit, Neha Aai and I enjoyed roaming the streets and gorging on delicious food like aloo puri, samosa, chaat and Malai vali lassi. Also, shopping in Haridwar was not really on our agenda. Still, we could not help picking up several tiny Shivlings (a representation of Lord Shiva) cast in stone for our family members. Also, I was delighted to do Ganga Aarti.”

Mohit Dagga, aka Ashok, shared, “Haridwar and Rishikesh are two of my favourite tourist destinations. The location was quite breathtaking. An outdoor shoot is always exciting and challenging as one has to wrap up shoots in a limited time. There is an interesting twist in the track where Ashok goes missing fearing to be confronted with the situation. After wrapping up the day’s shoot, I would explore nearby places. Seeing the famous Hari ki Pauri and having Darshan in the temple were among my top priorities when I arrived in the Holy City. I was impressed by the beauty of the location the moment I saw it. It was also the first time I shot a sequence where I was seen performing puja inside the holy Ganga water. Even though the water was very cold that day, I could easily shoot the sequence. The entire shooting experience was unforgettable, and we made many happy memories in the cities of Haridwar and Rishikesh. We have an interesting plot coming up, and I am sure the viewers will be glued to their television screen to know how the drama unfolds.”
