Shri Gajanan Kirtikar addressed the gathering of the parents of the Children Welfare Centre High School for false allegations levied against the respected and revered Mr. Ajay Kaul, the school has shut operations towards the defamation drive-by against the 4-decade-old institution

RTI Activist Mr Mohan Krishhnan and MLA Dr. Bharti Lavekar, Versova Vidhansabha in her complaint to BMC chief IS Chahal, Lavekar alleged that CWC violated the terms of its lease by ‘sub-leasing’ land to two schools belonging to Orchid International School. She alleged that the school is charging exorbitant fees, instead of offering free education to a certain number of students as stipulated in the lease agreement. She also accused the organization of undertaking unauthorized constructions, building commercial ‘banquet’ halls, and violating the norms pertaining to coastal Regulation Zone

Shri Gajanan Kirtikar, Member of Parliament from North West Mumbai Loksabha addressed a gathering of concerned parents from Children Welfare High School today. The gathering was called to discuss and address the harassment and false allegations that have been levied against the respected and revered Mr. Ajay Kaul, Principal of Children Welfare Centre High School.

Ajay Kaul who has dedicated his life to the development of the youth and their academics is deeply hurt and upset with the false accusations. He clarified all the points by presenting the necessary permissions before the parents. 

Kirtikar, who also spoke at the occasion, criticised Lavekar as he heaped praise on Kaul. “It doesn’t suit any MLA or public representative [to make such a complaint]. Is Kaul doing anything illegal? If he hadn’t used the land reserved for school, slums would have come up here. She has maligned her name and her party’s image,” he said.

The meeting was also attended by the MLC Kapil Patil and BJP Ex. Dy. Mayor Arun Deo. MLC Kapil Patil also expressed solidarity and asked the authorities to protect the school. “Take the bribes all you want, but let the school function. The reason for targeting this school is that they don’t get anything from here,” he said.

Meezaan Jafri is all set for the release of his upcoming film, Yaariyan 2. In Yaariyan 2, Meezaan plays Shikhar Randhawa, a charming hunk who appears to be blunt and has a tough exterior but deep down possesses a tender heart. The actor portrays a deeply layered character and speaking about it he said, “ I love challenging myself with each film, and when Bhushan ji (producer Bhushan Kumar) offered me Yaariyan 2, I had to be a part of it because of the complexity of the character. I immersed myself completely in playing Shikhar Randhawa. The character was emotionally challenging for me. The love affair of Shikhar was a brainteaser. It took me months to detach myself emotionally from Shikhar.” 

He further added,  “I learned to ride a dirt bike for the role, which was another interesting challenge for me. I am glad to be a part of Yaariyan 2. The film was an emotional and physical rollercoaster for me, and I will always hold it close to my heart.”

Meezaan has been experimenting with different genres. After making his debut with an intense film like Malaal, he was seen in the comedy Hungama 2, before he signed Yaariyan 2.

The actor also feels that Shikhar Randhawa is a far cry from his real self. The film, which also stars Divya Khosla Kumar and Pearl V Puri in pivotal roles, explores the themes of friendship, love, and complex human nature in the most beautiful manner.

Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Sardar Udham’ was a shining star at the 69th National Film Awards ceremony held today at Vigyan Bhavan, Delhi. Produced by Rising Sun Films & Kino Works, the film was honored with awards for Best Feature Film in Hindi, Best Cinematography, Best Audiography, Best Production Design, and Best Costume Design.

Present at the event ceremony to receive the awards were Producer Sheel Kumar of Kino Works, along with sound designer Sinoy Joseph, Production Designer Mansi Dhruv Mehta, and Costume Designer Veera Kapur Ee.
