Ekta Ajay Kapoor is all set to deliver some patriotic feels in her debut song "Vande Mataram" from the film " Romeo Akbar Walter" starring John Abraham in the lead.
Ekta chose her first song to be in patriotic space to inculcate vigorous support for our country. She explains why the song hold a special place in her heart.
"I feel privileged & proud to have Vande Mataram as my debut song. Vande Mataram holds a special place in every Indian's hearts, each time we listen to it there is a rush of patriotism. The song has every element to become an alternative anthem" says Ekta Ajay Kapoor.

एक दिन का इवेंट नारीत्व की भावना और महिलाओं की सुरक्षा के संदेश का प्रचार करेगा
मुंबई 26 मार्च। जेके टायर द्वारा प्रायोजित वार्षिक डब्ल्यूआईएए महिला रैली ऑफ द वैली का आयोजन सात अप्रैल को किया जाएगा। इस इवेंट में 600 महिलाएं हिस्सा लेंगी और शीर्ष स्थान के लिए प्रतिस्पर्धा करेंगी।
इस रैली की आयोजक वेस्टर्न इंडिया ऑटोमोबाइल एसोसिएशन ने मंगलवार को यहां एक संवाददाता सम्मेलन आयोजित कर इस बात की जानकारी दी।
यह मशहूर टीएसडी रैली अपने पांचवें साल में प्रेवश कर रही है। इस रैली की शुरुआत ओमकार 1973, वर्ली से होगी जो सेंचुरी बाजार, सिद्धी विनायक, शिवाजी पार्क, शिवसेना भवन, दादर प्लाजा टीटी, फाइव गार्डन, सियोन, इस्टर्न एक्सप्रेस हाइवे, वाशी, बेलापुर जैसे अहम रास्तों से गुजरेगी और पुणे के पास एम्बे वैली पर समाप्त होगी।
सेलिब्रिटिज और वोलंटियर्स की टीम मुख्य जगहों पर मौजूद रहेगी और प्रतिभागियों को प्रोत्साहित करेगी साथ ही उनके सफर को आसान बनाने के लिए उनकी मदद भी करेगी।
डब्ल्यूआईएए के कार्यकारी चेयरमैन नितिन डोसा ने कहा – इस वार्षिक महिला रैली का मकसद महिला सशक्तीकरण और उनके अधिकारों की नितियों को बढ़ावा देना है। हम बच्चियों की शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देने और यौन शोषण के खिलाफ लड़ाई लड़ना चाहते हैं।
उन्होंने कहा- आज के दौर में महिलाएं किसी पर निर्भर नहीं हैं। वह आत्मनिर्भर और निर्भिक हैं और कुछ भी करने में समर्थ हैं। हमारा अनुभव बताता है कि इस तरह के इवेंट काफी सफल होते हैं।
एफएमएससीआई द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त रैली ऑफ द वैली मुंबई मोटरस्पोटर्स के वार्षिक कैलेंडर का अहम हिस्सा है जो महिला सशक्तीकरण की भावना को सैलीब्रेट करती है। साथ ही यह रोड सेफ्टी का संदेश भी प्रसारित करती है। इसमें डब्ल्यूआईएए उसकी मदद करती है जो ट्रेनिंग और शिक्षा के माध्यम से ड्राइविंग के समय बरतने वाली सावधानियों के बारे में बताती है।
जेके मोटरस्पोर्ट के मुखिया संजय शर्मा ने कहा- देश में मोटरस्पोर्ट में एक बड़े हितधारक होने के नाते हम इस रैली का हिस्सा बन गर्व महसूस कर रहे हैं। हम महिला सशक्तीकरण को बढ़ावा देने की लड़ाई में सबसे आगे खड़े हैं। हमारा मकसद ज्यादा से ज्यादा महिलाओं को इस खेल के लिए प्रेरित करना है।
शर्मा ने कहा- बीते कुछ वर्षों में हम मोटरस्पोर्टस में महिलाओं के इवेंट आयोजित करा रहे हैं। हमने दिल्ली में वाइएफएलओ पावर ड्राइव से लेकर चंडीगढ़ में महिला ड्राइव तक का आयोजन किया है। हमने भारत में पहली बार एलजीबी नेशनल चैम्पियनशिप को आयोजित किया।
वेस्टर्न इंडिया ऑटोमोबाइल एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष विवेक गोयनका ने कहा- डब्ल्यूआईएए अपने सौवें साल में प्रवेश करने जा रही है, ऐसे में यह अक्टूबर में गुवाहाटी में महिलाओं के लिए अपना पहला अंतर्राष्ट्रीय इवेंट आयोजित करेगी। यह महिला सुरक्षा को भी बढ़ावा देगी और समाज में महिलाओं की सुरक्षा को लेकर जागरूकता फैलाएगी।
लंच और एंटरटेनमेंट के बाद चालक शाम को मुंबई लौटेंगीं। विजेताओं को 10 अप्रैल 2019 को होने वाले पुरस्कार वितरण समारोह में सम्मानित किया जाएगा।

एफएमएससीआय मान्यताप्राप्त ही रॅली मुंबईतील मोटरस्पोर्ट्स कॅलेंडरमधील महत्त्वाची रॅली समजली जाते.एकदिवसीय रॅली महिला सशक्तीकरणासोबतच त्यांच्या सुरक्षिततेबाबत जागरूकता निर्माण केली जाते. यासोबत ड्रायव्हिंग करताना काय काळजी घ्यावी याबाबत डब्ल्यूआयएए त्यांना मार्गदर्शन करते.
देशातील मोटरस्पोर्ट्समध्ये मोठे भागधारक म्हणून या रॅलीसोबत आल्याचा अभिमान आम्हाला आहे. महिला सक्षमीकरणासाठी आम्ही नेहमीच योगदान दिले असल्याचे जे के मोटरस्पोर्ट्सचे प्रमुख संजय शर्मा म्हणाले. अधिकाधिक महिला मोटरस्पोर्ट्समध्ये सहभागी व्हाव्यात हे आमचे लक्ष्य आहे. हे महिलांसाठी योग्य व्यासपीठ असल्याचे शर्मा म्हणाले.
गेल्या काही वर्षांमध्ये आम्ही महिला मोटरस्पोर्ट्स स्पर्धा आयोजित केल्या आहेत. दिल्ली येथील वायएफएलओ पॉवर ड्रायव्ह ते चंदीगडच्या वूमेन्स ड्रायव्हचा यात समावेश आहे. आम्ही एलजीबी राष्ट्रीय अजिंक्यपद स्पर्धेत पहिल्यांदाच महिला रेसिंग संघाचा समावेश केला. असे शर्मा यांनी सांगितले.
डब्ल्यूआयएए आपल्या शतक महोत्सवी वर्षात पदार्पण करत असून आम्ही महिला ड्रायव्हर्सकरता पहिल्या आंतरराष्ट्रीय मोहिमेचे आयोजन गुवाहाटी येथून ऑक्टोबर करणार आहोत. या माध्यमातून आम्ही महिलांच्या सुरक्षिततेबाबत जागृती निर्माण करणार आहोत असे वेस्टर्न इंडिया ऑटोमोबाईल असोसिएशनचे अध्यक्ष विवेक गोएंका यांनी नमूद केले. जेवण व मनोरंजन कार्यक्रमानंतर रॅलीतील स्पर्धक संध्याकाळी पुन्हा मुंबईला येतील. विजेत्यांना बुधवारी 10 एप्रिलला होणाऱ्या पारितोषिक समारंभात पुरस्कार देण्यात येतील.
The one-day event will celebrate spirit of womanhood, spread message of woman’s safety
Mumbai, March 26: The annual WIAA Women’s Rally to the Valley Presented by JK Tyre will take place on April 7, with over 600 ladies expected to compete for top prizes and glory.
The organisers, the Western India Automobile Association, announced this at a press conference on Tuesday, promising a much bigger and grander event.
The highly popular TSD Rally, entering its fifth year, will be flagged off from Omkar 1973, Worli and cross important landmarks in the city, including Century Bazaar, Siddhi Vinayak, Shivaji Park, Shivsena Bhavan, Dadar Plaza, Dadar T.T, Five Garden, Sion, Eastern Express Highway, Vashi, Belapur before culminating at Aamby Valley City near Pune.
A team of celebrities and safety volunteers will be present at key points throughout the route to encourage the participants and to ensure a smooth ride for them.
"The goal of the annual women's rally is to advocate legislation and policies for women's empowerment and for their working rights. We push for girl child education and fight against sexual harassment," Nitin Dossa, Executive Chairman of WIAA, said.
"Today's woman is no longer a dependent soul. She is independent and self-reliant in every respect and is capable of doing everything. Our experience shows that such events have become extremely successful and popular and a matter of keen interest for all automobile owners," he added.
The FMSCI-approved Rally to the Valley has become an important milestone in Mumbai’s motorsports calendar, endeavouring to celebrate the empowerment of women. At the same time, it promotes awareness about road safety, with the WIAA training and educating them about the various precautions they need to take while driving.
“As a major stakeholder in motorsports in the country, we are really proud of being part of this event. We have been at the forefront of fighting for women’s empowerment,” Mr. Sanjay Sharma, head of JK Motorsports, said. “Our goal is to attract more and more women to our sport and this a perfect platform for it,” he added.
“Over the last few years, we have been actively supporting motorsports events for women, right from the YFLO Power Drive in Delhi to the Women’s Drive to Chandigarh. We even introduced an all-women’s racing team in the LGB National Championship for the very first time in India,” Mr Sharma added.
Mr. Viveck Goenka, President of Western India Automobile Association, pointed out that “as the WIAA was entering its centenary year it would organize the 1st International expedition for women drivers in October from Guwahati. This will also support the cause of women's safety and create awareness amongst people to build a protective society for women.”
After lunch and entertainment, the rallyists will return to Mumbai in the evening. The winners will receive their prizes during the Awards Distribution ceremony on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.
