Vishwajeet Pradhan is back from Australia to shoot for two films .

Vishwajeet Pradhan starting with TV series Fauji in 1989, has completed 30 years in the film industry. Having acted in more than 200 films and serials like Maryada - lekin kab tak & Ek Boond Ishq, he was away in Australia since past four years. Ask him about it & he says, " well, I needed a break from the breakneck speed of daily soaps.

 Now my kids are studying there and I am back in action here. He's already finished shooting for Eros' Trilingual film starring Rana Dagubatti . In Mumbai at present he is shooting for Red Chillies film for an OTT digital platform . Ask him more and he says that looking at the contracts in place nowadays, I can only borrow a line from Commander Abhinandan, "I am not supposed to tell you that." A break in Australia with some Theatre & Television work was a wonderful change. But it's great to be back with all the exciting possibilities on the horizon.

The IIPPT Foundation organised the Fifth Sorbon International Convocation on July 25, 2019 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. 37 professionals were awarded doctorate degrees by Dr. John Thomas Padre, President Sorbon for extraordinary contribution in their respective fields.

While Chirag Shah, founder of GoCeleb, is still basking in the resounding success of his Gujarat City Tour with Laxmikant Pyarelal, the brainchild behind the Entertainment Company is already looking forward to the many musical shows planned for this year starting with Navratri.

“The success of our previous shows with Pyarelalji has been unprecedented, and that’s motivated us enough to make our future shows all the more extravagant,” says Chirag. He further adds, “We have major shows planned till end of 2019! It’s a five city tour with singers like Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Bappi Lahiri, Salman Ali, Javed Ali, Pankaj Udhaas, Lalit Pandit and Shaan among many others. A total of 40 singers have been signed on board and some exciting and exhilarating Navratri nights are also in the offing.”

Talking about the plans for the entertainment firm, which at the outset started off as an online artist booking portal, Chirag says, “Our aim with GoCeleb is to give the best entertainment to people. While in the movies, people just have to watch pre-recorded content, with LIVE Shows, they have the option to alter the entertainment quotient by making requests and engaging with the singers. Even the artists can plan their own show flow and alter the entertainment pegs. We have signed up with over 3000 artists so far and many more are to join us too.”

It is learnt that GoCeleb is soon to launch a Celebrity Merchandise Auction Portal as well. This online auction portal will give fans the access and the chance to participate in the auction and bid for the merchandises of their favourite celebrities. A part of the proceeds of the auction will be donated to NGOs, thus contributing towards the society as well.

अभिनेत्री सई ताम्हणकरला नाविन्याची सातत्याने ओढ असते, हे तिच्या सिनेमाच्या निवडीने तिने दरवेळी दाखवून दिलंय. ह्यामुळेच सई नव्या दिग्दर्शकांसोबतही काम करताना दिसतेय. प्रसिध्दीच्या शिखरावर असलेल्या अभिनेत्री क्वचितच असे, एक्पिरिमेन्ट करताना दिसत असताना, सई मात्र न कचरता नव्या दिग्दर्शकांना भक्कम सपोर्ट देतेय. आणि ह्याचं लेटेस्ट उदाहरण म्हणजे उपेन्द्र सिधये आणि मोहित टाकळकर.

यंदा दोन फस्ट टाइम फिल्ममेकर्ससोबत मराठी सिनेसृष्टीतली आघाडीची अभिनेत्री असलेल्या सईचे सिनेमे येत आहेत.  गर्लफ्रेंड सिनेमातून सिनेसृष्टीत दिग्दर्शक म्हणून पाऊल ठेवणा-या उपेंद्र सिधये आणि मिडीयम स्पाईसी सिनेमातून दिग्दर्शक म्हणून डेब्यू करणा-या मोहित टाकळकरसोबत काम करण्याचा निर्णय सईने घेतला. पण नव्या फिल्ममेकर्ससोबत सई ताम्हणकर पहिल्यांदाच सिनेमा करत नाही आहे. ह्याअगोदरही सईने मनवा नाईक (पोर बाजार), हर्षवर्धन कुलकर्णी (हंटर),  गिरीश कुलकर्णी (जाऊ द्या ना बाळासाहेब), दिपक भागवत (3.56 किल्लारी),  ज्ञानेश झोटिंग (राक्षस), अशा फस्ट-टाइम दिग्दर्शकांच्या सिनेमांतून काम केले आहे.

सईच्या जवळच्या सूत्रांनुसार, आपलं स्टारडमचं बॅगेज बाजूला ठेवून एखाद्या प्रोजेक्टला सामोरे जाण्यामध्ये सई विश्वास ठेवते. जेव्हा जेव्हा ती फस्ट-टाईम दिग्दर्शकांसोबत काम करते. तेव्हा स्वत: पहिल्यांदा सिनेमात काम करत असल्याचा हुरूप सईच्या चेह-यावर नेहमी दिसतो. जिथे जिथे पहिली वेळ असते तिथे सई असतेच. ती पहिली मराठी अभिनेत्री आहे जी स्पोर्ट्स टीमची ओनर आहे. ती पहिली मराठी ए-लिस्टर अभिनेत्री आहे जी स्टँडअप कॉमेडी करते. तिला नाविन्याची ओढ आहे. त्यामुळेच नव्या फिल्ममेकर्सकडून तिला फिल्ममेकिंगचा नवा अप्रोच शिकायला खूप आवडतं. तिच्या ह्याच दृष्टीकोणामूळे ती आज यशाच्या शिखरावर आहे. ती न्यु एज सिनेमाचा चेहरा आहे.

सई ह्याविषयी म्हणते, “नव्या दिग्दर्शकांमध्ये फिल्ममेकिंगचा एक नवा दृष्टिकोण आणि फ्रेशनेस असतो. सिनेमा बनवतानाच्या नव्या दिग्दर्शकांच्या अप्रोचला अभिनेत्री म्हणून मॅच करण्यासाठी किंवा त्यांच्या अपेक्षा पूर्ण करताना मी आपसूकच स्वत:ला आव्हान देत असते. स्वत:ला ‘ऑन टोज’ ठेवण्यासाठीची ही एक्टर म्हणून माझी एक्सरसाइज असते. भारतीय सिनेमा पूढे जायला हवा असेल, आणि एक्टर म्हणून प्रगल्भ व्हायचं असेल तर नव्या दिग्दर्शकांसोबत काम करायला हवं असं मला वाटतं. “

She has always had a soft corner for the elderly people and have been seen making frequent visits to old age homes in the past.’

Lopamudra always wanted to do this and we tried to speak to her on this and here is what she has got to say,  ‘‘ I have always felt the vaccum in my life after the demise of my grandparents who I was very close to. Every time I meet the any elderly I think of my grandparents especially my grandma .. I can’t get her back but I try to find her in every elderly I meet. I somehow connect a lot with them and after my grandparents I recently I have gone through the pain of losing someone who was like a grandfather to me”

We wish to have more real-life heroes and role models like lopamudra in our society to take care of the ones who need us.
