Rakesh Paul is undoubtedly the powerhouse of television. With talent, looks, charm and the hunger for excellence, his success story is that of someone whose passion becomes their profession and then there’s no looking back.

The actor is winning hearts with his unique role in the show Manmohini. Sometimes he is the eternal Good Guy and the next moment hes the Terror in d house. What do you call that character? A positive or a negative? Well, we call it talent.

In the past Rakesh Paul has done some brilliant work from playing a Hero to a Villain to doing various Comedy shows, well he has done it all. When asked what excited him about his character in Manmohini, he said "My character in Manmohini is something I have never done before. In the past I have played either a negative or positive or d comic guy but it is for the 1st time that I am playing both positive and negative in one show and that too parallely. It is roles like these that help you explore your potential & craft" he adds "With each role I want to add a 'very' to it, a very positive... a very negative... a very loud... a very subtle... etc Fortunately my role in Manmohini has added a 'very' to both my shades"
When asked to elaborate about his character, he said "At one point I am obsessed & absolutely in love with my wife and absolutely against my entire family, I hit them & they are shit scared of me & because its a Supernatural Horror show there are certain turn of events where I become absolutely pro my family & go against Manmohini to the extent that I beat her up terribly and the best part is I keep switching my roles because of some 'magic potion n hypnotism'. The funny part is even the family doesn't know if I'm going to stand up for them or beat them up, its not just exciting for actors to perform such roles, but its also a treat for the audiences"

The actor said that he likes to get out of his comfort zone n do things hes not attempted before... as actors we need to keep rediscovering ourselves... He feels that he cannot play safe and that he won’t play safe. It just doesn’t excite him as an artiste, so his content choices always seem diverse. He wants to challenge himself, take bigger risks and entertain people who want to watch a good performances.

Sunny Inder Bawra's Tribute To Bharat With Hotel Mumbai

While Hotel Mumbai, the Hollywood movie that recreated the terrorizing event of 26/11 attacks in Mumbai, got critically appreciated, the one thing that also stayed with people was a patriotic song which, after Jai ho, is sure to be the next most played patriotic number of recent times.

This cross over cinema's patriotic song, Humein Bharat Kehte Hain happens to be composed by musical brother duo Sunny and Inder Bawra and they still can't believe the song is really working that well with people. "We have worked really hard on this track and usually when it isn't an item number or a peppy, romantic or upbeat one, you don't expect the song to pick up this easily. But Humein Bharat Kehte Hain turned out to be an anomaly which pleasantly surprised us. The lyrics written by Kumaarji made this song doubly special because you really have to have the right words when it comes to writing a song for our mother country!" says Sunny Inder.

Hailing from a humble background in Bathinda, Punjab, this composer duo hasn't had their success easy. "We moved to Mumbai in 2000 and after a struggle for either years, we got our first break with mythological TV Series Jai Shri Krishna on Colors! That changed things for us and we eventually went onto do 50 Tv shows and earned our space in the television industry. Our most acclaimed work in the small screen still remains Devon Ke Dev Mahadev." says Inder while further added, "But movies were still a distant dream till we met Mr. Vikram Bhatt who gave a break in Ankur Arora Murder Case. The music worked well in the film and we later went onto do Hate Story Series Background score with our dear friend Director Vishal Pandya along with Wajah Tum Ho."

"Work eventually started trickling in along with recognition in the industry. We were approached by Mr. Nishikant Kamath and Mr. John Abraham for Rocky Handsome, Madaari and later also did a song in Badhaai Ho lyrics by one of the best Lyricist of Bollywood Kumaar Ji and sung by Padam Bhushan Shubha Mudgal Ji," says Sunny Inder who's happy that they finally have their hands full work some good work.

Sunny Inder also won their first Filmfare Award for their musical works in Punjabi film Jora 10 Numbari.

The duo has recently also released its single with Zee Music Company titled Rule Ke Gaya Ishq Tera that has already crossed a million views. "I am thankful to Mr. Anurag Bedi for giving us this beautiful association with Zee Music," says Inder who is also looking forward to an amazing fun flick Bole Chudiyaan for which they are not only composing music but also making Nawazuddin Siddiqui rap for a song!
Well their upcoming work sure sound interesting and would be worth eagerly waiting for.

The Boom in Immersive Audio Experience for India: Kaali Awaazein

As podcasts become the new heart of content in India with the introduction of Audible Suno coming in with a variety of shows in 2019, one of the genres seen up for grabs is horror where pioneer audio creators like Actor/RJ Mantra was seen introducing KAALI AWAAZEIN, a fictional 10 episode audio web series presented by Bollywood’s most applauded actor, Amitabh Bachchan. Kaali Awaazein is based on India’s most haunted places enacted by more than 100 actors from all over India on Amazon’s Audible SUNO.

“It was a spooky experience creating this show, being an audio medium, every sound created a new fear, and even as creators we had sleepless nights, every rustle meant someone was watching over your shoulder”, said Mantra.

Mantra has used special microphones to record people, sound and the show promises to give you an 'immersive' experience.

"I've been playing with binaural sounds for long on my audio channel MnM Talkies, this time I've used it in a horror show, and it really gives you the shivers"

Speaking about working with Mr. Bachchan, Mantra says "He is the best and to have him as our presenter places our show right on top. He has done a tremendous job and we are honored to have him on board!”
