नवरात्रीच्या शुभ मुहूर्तावर, वैष्णो देवी मंदिरात थेट काम करण्याची संधी मिळाल्यामुळे  तुलसी कूमार खूप धन्यता मानतात.

पारंपारिक नवरात्रीच्या 7 व्या दिवशी देवी दुर्गाच्या 9 अवतारांपैकी एक असलेल्या देवी कात्यायनीची भक्त पूजा करतात. आणि या निमित्ताने म्हणजेच 18 एप्रिल रोजी अष्टपैलू आणि प्रसिद्ध गायक तुलसी कूमार यांनी आपल्या गायनाने भाविक मंत्रमुग्ध केले.

या प्रसंगी बोलताना तुलसी कूमार म्हणाली, "मी जेव्हा फेब्रुवारीला माता राणीला भेटायला गेलो तेव्हा मला फोन आला आणि एका महिन्यातच मला नवरात्रीच्या या शुभ मुहूर्तावर माता राणीच्या घरी जावे लागले." गायन सादर करण्याची संधी मिळाली. या कुलूपबंदीत, मला आनंद आहे की मी दिलसे देवी दुर्गासाठी या पवित्र ठिकाणी कामगिरीने सुरुवात करुन एक गाणे गायले आहे. सध्या ज्या कठीण परिस्थितीत आपण तोंड देत आहोत त्या काळात मला वाटतं की सण आपल्याला एकत्र आणतात, आणि ते केवळ आशेचा आत्मा म्हणूनच काम करत नाहीत तर प्रार्थना करत असताना देवाकडून आशीर्वाद मिळवण्यास मदत करतात आणि करा आणि आशा करा की गोष्टी मिळेल आतापासून चांगले. लोकांना प्रोत्साहित करण्यासाठी आणि संकटाला सकारात्मक मार्गाने तोंड देण्याचा हा माझा छोटासा प्रयत्न आहे. आणि हे करण्यास सक्षम असणे माझ्यासाठी एक विशेषाधिकार आहे. आम्ही सुनिश्चित केले की सर्व आवश्यक खबरदारीचे पालन केले पाहिजे आणि सामाजिक अंतर राखले जाईल.

मी देवी वैष्णो देवीचा एक महान भक्त आहे, देवीच्या मंदिरात कामगिरीने वर्षाची सुरुवात करणे यापेक्षा चांगले काय असू शकते.

2021 हे तुळसीसाठी एक यशस्वी वर्ष ठरले आहे आणि या निमित्ताने आईच्या आशीर्वादाचा वर्षाव होतो. गेल्या वर्षी रिलीज झालेल्या सिंग एकेरींसह कादरचे नुकतेच रिलीज झाले होते, जे यापूर्वीच चार्टबस्टर बनले आहे, तर तन्हाई, मैं जीस दिन भुला दून, पहले प्यार का पहला गम, नाम, तेरे नाल ही तिची गाणी प्रेक्षकांना आवडतात आणि त्यांचे कौतुकही झाले आहे.

 यावर्षी वैष्णोदेवीच्या उत्सवात तुलसी कुमार यांच्यासह दलेर मेहंदी, अनुराधा पौडवाल, सुखविंदर सिंग हेही गाण्यांच्या कामगिरीचा एक भाग होते, ज्यांनी हा उत्सव यात्रेकरूंसोबत साजरा केला आणि तुलसिंसह दिग्गजांनी शानदार प्रदर्शन केले.

Bijay Anand will soon be seen playing the role of Kiara Advani’s father in Karan Johar’s production ‘Shershaah’.

A doting father to Kiara who doesn’t approve of Sidharth Malhotra, a young jobless and ambition-less man. It is only when he goes to fight the war, Bijay’s character of a concerned & loving father approves of his daughter's love interest.

Playing a doting father to a daughter comes naturally to Bijay. He is a father to a cute little daughter in his real life, he played the role of Raja Janak to Sita in Siya Ke Ram and won accolades for his calm demeanor and acting for Karenjit Kaur where he plays father to Sunny Leone in her biopic.

Elaborating about his role and experience shooting for Shershaah, Bijay says, “I’ve shot with dozens of production houses my entire life but Dharma Production really knows how to pamper and take care of its actors.
It was a pleasure working for them”.

Directed by Vishnu Varadhan and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the film is based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra, who died in the Kargil War and was honored with the Param Vir Chakra posthumously.

IFTPC has intimated to all the stakeholders in the industry to follow guidelines in true spirit and ensure that the spread of Corona is restricted totally. Accordingly, the M&E industry will be closed for the next 15 days.

IFTPC appealed for the following from the CM Sh Uddhav Thackeray.

The post-production work which is done in a studio facility in a closed environment be allowed to function, so that the already shot portions of the content are edited and completed for final broadcasting. The telecast of fresh episodes is essential to keep the people who are forced indoors due to the lockdown are entertained with fresh content. This will reduce their anxiety and depression to considerable effect.

There are many sets that are already being built that will become unserviceable due to the closure and the Producers will have to suffer huge losses. To avoid the same, setting work may be allowed to continue just as you have allowed construction workers subject the workers being allowed to stay at the set with all precautions. This will also help the workers who are largely migrant workers to get a safe abode and wages in these difficult times.

The financial package announced by you to the needy doesn’t mention the M&E workers, technicians, and actors who are basically daily wage earners. We would request you to kindly include these helpless workers and actors in your scheme. If required we can share the list of such workers and actors with full details. Please note small-time actors especially in regional space earn a pittance in wages.

As you have emphasized the need for vaccination of all workers, vaccination centers at the Film City and in Mira- Bhayander region specially catering to Film & TV workers will be highly appreciated. Any help in this matter will be provided by IFTPC
