ZEE TV ARTISTS, FRIENDSHIP DAY QUOTES
Adnan Khan aka Kabeer from Zee TV’s Ishq Subhan Allah said, “Personally, I believe that we don’t need a specific day to celebrate friendship. We should not need a reminder to tell our friends that they are special to us and we are blessed to have such great friends. Coincidently, my off-screen and on-screen best friend is Aashutosh Semwal, who plays the character of xx in the show. He knows me very well and can even read my mind. There have been times when he has understood what I am going through or what I am feeling without me even expressing it. Whenever Aashutosh finds me a bit low or depressed, he comes to me and says, ‘Bro, count your blessing and not your mistakes. Count your good things and not your bad things’ and his mere words tend to charge me up everytime and lift my mood instantly. Moreover, he has great energy and positivity that makes him one of the nicest person on set”
Manit Joura aka Rishabh Luthra from Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya said, “Friends are always very special because you have the right to choose them. On the sets, I share a great equation with everyone but it's my costar Dheeraj Dhoopar and Shraddha Arya who I bond with the most. While Dheeraj is more of a buddy and we share a great rapport and even help each other with our scenes, Shraddha is like my biggest support. In fact, we I have a lot in common. We both are true blue Punjabis and passionate travellers. Hence, we can talk on and on about it. It is rare to find such great and amazing friends and I consider myself extremely lucky to have found both of them.”
Monica Khanna aka Zeenat from Zee TV’s Ishq Subhan Allah said, “We don’t need a specific day to celebrate friendship. Friends are very important as they bring out the positivity and cheerfulness in you. They become one of the biggest drivers of your confidence most of the times. They remind you of your strengths, dreams and capabilities. They are the ones who correct you when you do something wrong and help you when you walk on a wrong path. True friends always stand by you in your happiness and always pull you out from the darkness. So, I believe, if one can cherish friends each day why just celebrate the bond on friendships day!
Shantanu Maheshwari, host of India’s Best Dramebaaz said, “I feel it is unfair to celebrate friendships on one specific day. It is something to cherish every day! I still remember during my school days, Friendship Day used to be a rage and kids used to take friendship bands very seriously. Back then, I used to make my own friendship band for my close friends because I could not afford to buy fancy ones. I plan to spend friendship day with my close friends Macedon D’mello and Palki Malhotra. The stupid little things we do is what makes our bond so special.”
Vrushika Mehta aka Puchki of Yeh Teri Galiyaan said, “Friendship is the most important thing in my life. Though I have a very few friends, they are the best and most honest people to have around. I feel happy and fortunate to have them as part of my life. I fondly remember my school days where tying friendship bands was a big trend and the person with the maximum number of friendship bands was considered the coolest person in the class. This friendships day, I am looking forward to meeting my friends and enjoying a quiet dinner with them.
Renee Dhyani aka Beauty of Yeh Teri Galiyaan said, “Friendships day is a very special occasion and I am very thankful to all my friends for supporting me through thick and thin. The best part about having great friends is that you can be yourselvesin front of them, everything is open and transparent. I have many memories associated with friendships day and I will always cherish them for lifetimes to come . Moreover, if I am not shooting, I am hoping to catch up some old pals and enjoy the day in their company.”
Akshay Mhatre aka Naren from Zee TV’s Piyaa Albela said, “Whenever I think of friendships day I remember my school and college days where we always bunked lectures and classes. I think Kuch Kuch Hota was a pathbreaking movie that set a trend of friendship day. Shahrukh Khan’s dialogue ‘Pyaar Dosti hai’ still reverberates in my mind. This year, I will be celebrating friendships day on-sets with my co-stars and will catch up with a few old friends for dinner. I have my closest friends onset- my writer Rahul, my evil on-screen brother Ankit Vyas and my on-screen wife Sheen Dass and I am looking forward to enjoying this special day with them.”
