Here’s wishing Evelyn Sharma a Happy Birthday. The Indo-German actress who is known for one of Bollywood’s most repeated radio songs 'Sunny Sunny' from her movie Yaariyan turns lucky number 33 this 12th of July. The Saaho actress just wrapped up her shoot for the Prabhas-starrer and decided to be with her family for her birthday this year. It's surprising but the model-actress has not spent her special day with her family since the time she moved to India. “Why?” you ask? She’s been working every year on her birthday! A source close to the actress tells us that she loves working on her birthday and considers it a lucky omen for the coming year. The Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actress shifted to India 10 years back to discover her Punjabi roots and surprisingly made it big in Bollywood. “Destiny” she calls it. Her sweet stints in films like Main Tera Hero and her easily recognizable accent gained her a loyal fanbase of Indians across the globe. What most people don’t know, however, is that her first full-fledged lead role in rom-com Ishqedarriyaan became a super hit through TV and Netflix and gained her the status she has today.
This year Evelyn, who also launched her charity foundation Seams For Dreams on her birthday a few years ago, is shooting for her German television show EUROMAXX and couldn’t be happier. “I get to work and do what I love, plus I get to spend the day with my family. I’m truly blessed!” she quips. Evelyn has been roped in to host the Deutsche Welle (DW) show’s German and English format this year and has been travelling between Mumbai and Berlin. The actress was recently seen in Kissebaaz' item song 'Babli' that is sung by sensational singer Mamta Sharma and has yet again created waves with her sweet nature and overwhelming beauty. The movie also features Pankaj Tripathy, the King of Mirzapur, and has received good reviews by critics and audience. Now we can't wait for the release of her first action film Saaho this Independence Day, August 15th. The film features Bahubali superstar Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in the leads, besides Neil Nitin Mukesh, Chunky Pandey, Mandira Bedi and many more reputed names from Bollywood and Tollywood. While we wait for the movie, we wish our sunshine Pani Pani girl all the best for the year ahead and hope to see her enchanting to the audiences in many more films in the future. We wish her a blockbuster year ahead!

त्यानंतर रिचिकाने करिष्माला आपली बहीण बेबो (म्हणजे करीना कपूर-खान) हिच्या बालपणीच्या काही आठवणी सांगण्याची विनंती केली. तेव्हा करिष्माने करीनाबद्दल सांगितलेल्या खट्याळ आठवणींनी सर्वजण थक्क झाले! करिष्मा कपूर म्हणाली, “शाळेत असताना मी अगदी संयमी विद्यार्थिनी होते आणि सर्वजण मला‘मिस गुडी टू शूज’ म्हणून संबोधायचे. मी अगदी शिस्तप्रिय मुलगी होते, पण करीना एकदम पटाखा होती. ती खूपच खट्याळ होती आणि ती नेहमी कुठेतरी पळून जात असे आणि आम्ही तिला शोधत फिरत असू. मी अगदी साधी असून माझ्या अगदी उलट करीना आहे. पण ते म्हणतात ना, विरुध्द स्वभावाच्या व्यक्तींना एकमेकांचं आकर्षण वाटतं. म्हणूनच आम्ही दोघी एकमेकींच्या अगदी जवळ आहोत.”

पणजी, 8 जुलै – जीटीडीसीचा यंदाच्या हंगामातील चौथा रविवार मान्सून ट्रेक 14 जुलै 2019 रोजी बुद्रुक शेलॉप येथेजाणार आहे.
या रविवारच्या ट्रेकचा कार्यक्रम विविध आकर्षणांनी भरलेला असून त्यात इतिहास आणि साहस यांचं अनोखं मिश्रणअनुभवायला मिळणार आहे. पहिल्यांदा सत्तारी आणि त्यानंतर नागरगाव येथे पोहोचून मग बुद्रुक शेलॉप गाठायचेआहे. तिथे ब्रम्हदेवाचे एक प्राचीन मंदिर पाहायला मिळते. 16 व्य शतकात करमाली ही स्थानिक देवतासत्तारीमध्ये स्थलांतरित करण्यात आली होती. त्यानंतर आपल्याला चार किलोमीटरचा ट्रेक करायचा असूनत्यादरम्यान 3 झरे आणि एक मोठा धबधबा पाहायला मिळतो. शेळाप्याच्या गावकऱ्यांद्वारे रूचकर जेवण बनवलेजाणार आहे. परतीच्या मार्गावर सर्व ट्रेकर्सना मोफत रोप दिले जाणार आहे.
बुद्रुक शेलॉप हे सत्तारी तालुक्यातील वाल्पोई, गोव्याजवळ पाहायला मिळणारे छोटे, हंगामी धबधबे असून हापरिसर जैवविविधतेने नटलेला आहे. पॅकिंग बॅग भरा आणि निसर्गरम्य, सोप्या तरीही साहसी ट्रेकला चला.
वाहतुकीची सोय म्हापसा रेसिडेन्सी आणि मडगाव रेसिडेन्सीपासून सकाळी अनुक्रमे 7.30 आणि 7.15 वाजता, तरपणजी येथून सकाळी 8.30 वाजता करण्यात आली आहे. जुना गोवा, बाणस्थरी आणि सांखली येथूनही वाहतुकीचीसोय ठेवण्यात आली आहे.

GTDC’s enthralling Mhadei river rafting commences
Panjim, 8th July 2019: The monsoon season has arrived bringing with itself the perfect time to ride the waves of the gorgeously moody Mhadei River amidst the spectacular jungle scenery along the Mhadei wildlife sanctuary!
To provide this experience, GTDC has commenced its White Water Rafting activity for the season.There will be two rafting trips held each day with the first trip starting at 9:30 am and the second at 2:30 pm. Each trip will go on for 2.5 to 3.5 hours running 10 km each, stirring and elating you, along the breathtaking landscape!
For an enthralling experience of white water rafting, you will need to assemble at The Earthen Pot Restaurant in Valpoi from where a 25 minute drive and thereafter a 10 minute walk into the Mhadei river valley will lead you to the rafting site. Here you will be fitted with the equipment and briefed by the river guides on safety instructions to ensure that you have a safe and memorable ride. Don’t worry even if you are a beginner for the highly trained and experienced staff is there to take care of your safety.
This year too, the white river rafting experience promises to be different. For Goa Tourism has tied up with a top adventure sports video company in the country to capture your rafting experience through a personalized video, which would be shared via WhatsApp or Google Drive the same day. This comes along with a souvenir framed picture as well!
The Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism Minister of Goa , Mr. Manohar Ajgaonkar said “I am very happy that the annual seasonal white water rafting activity, started by Goa Tourism, is underway. Rafting in River Mhadei is a truly thrilling experience and brings adventure loving tourists to Goa in large numbers. Out of the numerous ones available, navigating the rapids of the Mhadei River through our river rafting activity has been gaining immense popularity among tourists.
