Malaika Arora, Madhu Chopra and Isha Kopikkar grace the grand launch of beauty pageant Queen of the World India, meant to empower women

 

 Today was d-day where Queen of the World Pageant India was launched by Katrina Marie Spagonletti and Malaika Arora along with an array of other popular names in the industry. Founded by former Mrs. World Alice Lee, the beauty pageant aims to do away with stereotypes that hinder the participation at pageants for many, making QOTW an inclusive open to all platform that empowers women. The beauty pageant recognizes the true queens of the world and that is what makes it one of its kind of a beauty pageant and aims to encourage women to follow their dreams no matter what their age.

Leading the launch event from the front was the India Director of QOTW, Urmimala Boruah. A former Mrs. India Galaxy 2019, she is the founder and CEO of Stay fit with Urmi, and has been training women as a coach for over 2 decades now.

The grand launch at Sahara Star was an absolute success where Urmimala, along with the chief guests made an announcement about the delegates for all 4 divisions of the pageant -  The winner of the pageant will be further representing India at Queen of the World in USA, scheduled for March 2022.

Chief guest Malaika, got talking about the event to the press and said, ''I think every women should get the title of Queen of the World. I am really happy to crown the QOTW, I really like the title. I think the change is a very important change as the pageants earlier were for single, unmarried women, but now, there are so many contests meant for women who are working, or married, etc. I think this is a much needed change and it should go on.''

Director of QOTW India, Urmimala said, ''Our pageant allows an 18 year old to participate but also allows a grandmother to participate, so it is all about inclusivity and diversity. It is a platform to get women from all walks of life to come together to be real queens.''

About the event, Isha said, ''I think this is a very nice initiative that has now launched in India and it will give an opportunity to many talented women to participate and it is a really great and commendable initiative. And it is not just about beauty or the exterior, it is also about how they have contributed towards the society, there are doctors, etc, so there are people from all walks of life, which is why it is about beauty and brains and service, how they have served mankind and humanity. A woman has a lot of qualities which haven't been acknowledged, she can manage her home and also go out and do her job, so everyone is now finally becoming aware through such platforms that they have this ability.''

Dr. Madhu Chopra, who also graced the event, says, ''I want to congratulate Urmi for launching this platform. I think that the format talks about not just glamour and beauty but also diversity and inclusivity.''

Also present at the event today were Isha Kopikkar, Dr. Madhu Chopra, and some special guests like Shilpa Bhagat, Vishwa Gulati, Benafsha, among others.

संताजी आणि धनाजी यांची मोगल सैन्यावर इतकी दहशत होती की, मोगली घोडे मराठी मुलखाचे पाणी प्यायला बिचकू लागले. तुम्हांला पाण्यात काय संताजी-धनाजी दिसतात का....असे मोगल सेनापती आपल्या घोड्यांना विचारू लागले.

'स्वराज्य सौदामिनी ताराराणी' या मालिकेत या दोन धुरंधर सेनानींची गोष्टही प्रेक्षकांना पाहायला मिळणार आहे. अमित देशमुख आणि रोहित देशमुख हे दोघे संताजी आणि धनाजी यांची भूमिका साकारत आहेत. यासाठी त्यांच्या घोडेस्वारी, दांडपट्टा, तलवारबाजी अशा मर्दानी खेळांच्या  तालमी सुरू आहेत. आपल्या भूमिकेला न्याय देण्यासाठी हे दोन्ही कलाकार अतिशय कसून मेहनत घेत आहेत.

मराठ्यांना धुळीस मिळवायचे, भगवा ध्वज कायमचा उखडून फेकायचा, या ईर्षेने आपल्या अफाट सामर्थ्यानिशी दक्षिणेत उतरलेल्या सर्वसत्ताधीश औरंगजेबाला ताराराणींनी आपल्या पराक्रमाने दख्खनच्या मातीत गाडला. त्याची कबर औरंगाबादेत, मुलखातच खोदली गेली.

ज्येष्ठ अभिनेते यतीन कार्येकर हे मालिकेत औरंगजेबाची भूमिका साकारत आहे. व्यक्तिरेखेचा  प्रचंड अभ्यास करणारा यतीन कार्येकरांसारखा  सामर्थ्यशाली अभिनेता या भूमिकेत प्रेक्षकांना दिसणार आहे. प्रोमोमधला औरंगजेब पाहतानाही त्या व्यक्तिरेखेचा प्रचंड राग यावा, असा अभिनय त्यांनी केला आहे. इतिहासातला सर्वांत क्रूर, संशयी, जुलमी, कपटी बादशाह  असलेल्या औरंगजेबाची भूमिका शब्दश: जिवंत झाल्याचा भास  त्यांच्याकडे  पाहून होतो. त्यांचा हा अप्रतिम अभिनय प्रेक्षकांसाठी पर्वणी असणार आहे. १५ नोव्हेंबरपासून ताराराणी आणि औरंगजेब यांना छोट्या पडद्यावर समोरासमोर पाहणे,  म्हणजे इतिहासातला तो काळ साक्षात अनुभवणे!

The Diwali bash of the PR agency was a huge starry affair and all eyes were on the co-founders Namita Rajhans and Tasneem Lathiwala. The stars thronged in numbers notably Veronica Vanij, Kate Sharma, Aarya Babbar, Mugdha Godse, Nikita Rawal, and Tanushree Dutta were present at the event. The event took place at Amethhyyst which is owned by Mehul Mstry and Sushant G Jabare. They were also part of the celebrations.  The pictures were out and went viral within minutes. There were lights, great food and an ambiance to die for at the venue. They had a gallant time together. 

We spoke to co-founder Namita and here is what she say, "We have been working with our clients who have become more like family and friends and not just mere clients. That's all the more reason to celebrate and have a good time. Also, we all can get together under one roof and that's a great way to relax and unwind from an otherwise hectic schedule. Love and light to all. Hope everyone had a very happy Diwali."

We spoke to the amazing  co-founder Tasneem for a comment and here is what she says, "It was an auspicious occasion and it's important for us to get together whenever we can. We are in a high-performance environment and it's good to relax and not work. Wishing everyone a great year and let's make the most of the last few weeks of 2021. It's been a tough time and getting through this safe is reason enough to love a little more and share more happiness."

Akashdeep Sengupta composed the Mere Yaara track from the movie Sooryavanshi and it's making all the right noises.

 

Singer, Composer, Music supervisor Akashdeep Sengupta has composed the song Mere Yaara is out and it's been a game-changer for Akashdeep. He was the vocal arranger and vocal supervisor for Pritam da and had worked in films like Dilwale, Dishoom, Dangal, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Tubelight, Raabta, Jab Harry met Sejal, Jagga Jasoos, Kalank, Chhichhore, Love aaj kal2, Ludo, and many more of his upcoming films. Now that's a very tall order. He has also directed music in films like 1920 London, Behen hogi teri, Shaadi mein zaroor aana, Badhai ho, Loveyatri, Bhangra Paa Le, and most recently Sooryavanshi. That says something about the caliber of this talented musician.

Akashdeeo says, "It has done wonders for my career. It has been loved by all. It's the only track in the film which brings some calm amongst the storm and that was what the brief which came. The film is releasing soon and it's a landmark film. It will help much to Kickstart the films in theatres and people who love watching them on the big screen. Thousands of jobs are associated with that. Even though it took time, we are all very happy that we are seeing this day. It has been a devastating time before all of this. Abhimanyu Singh receives love for his role as the principal antagonist in the film “SOORYAVANSHI” released this Diwali.

 

Abhimanyu Singh has received immense praise for the role of the principal antagonist in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi. Ever since the launch of the trailer, Abhimanyu's character has made a mark & built curiosity among his fans. 

The actor talks about how his character is not a typical baddie in the film despite being part of a larger-than-life Rohit Shetty cop universe "It is an opportunity given by Mr.Rohit Shetty to play the antagonist in his film and I shall be indebted to him always. Everything on the set was so larger-than-life. My character is not a typical baddie, he has his own ideology, does things for his people, and is very real with an emotional undercurrent" further adding “I am happy to receive so much love for my role, Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, and Ranveer Singh together come in the climax to avenge and that is the moment for me, I am so honored to be part of the project and this one will always remain closer to my heart  ”

“I am so glad that the film could release this Diwali and theatres are already going full and this is just an apt film for the audience to bounce back and live to get back to normal cinema ” adds Abhimanyu
