 Swimmer Anshuman Jhingran swims his way into record books by swimming solo 200 kms in the Arabian Sea in 1 month

Mumbai, December 30, 2021:

Anshuman Sandeep Jhingran, age 16, resident of Vashi, Navi Mumbai took on an ambitious adventure swim mission to swim 7 channel routes in the Arabian Sea. Starting his first swim, which was his debut in solo open water swimming on 26th Nov, he swam from Rewas to Gateway in 4 hours and 23 min. On 28th Nov, he crossed from Dharamtar jetty to Mandwa, a distance of 26 km in 5 hrs and 34 min.

 The third swim was on 7th Dec, where he swam the legendary route from Dharamtar to Gateway of India in 8 hours and 19 min.

 Further he made his way through the creek from Belapur Jetty to Gateway of India on 10th Dec 2021 in 5 hous and 10 min. He then attempted to swim from Mandwa Jetty in Alibaug to Elephanta Island and back, a distance of 42 km in 10 hrs and 19min on 16th Dec 2021. Anshuman became the first person ever to swim this route in the Arabian sea.

 He followed this with a swim from Vashi to the Gateway of India on 22nd Dec 2021 which he completed in 5 hours and 44 min. His final swim was on 25th Dec 2021, which was a mid-sea crossing from Kasa Rock Island to Khanderi Island, also known as Sardar Kanhoji Angre Island, a distance of 26km which he completed in 3 hours and 52 min which is the fastest swim ever on this route.

 Except two, all swims were swim amidst foggy weather and jelly fish infested water conditions. All together he covered a distance of over 200 km of solo swims in a span of 1 month for which he awaits an approval from the Limca book of records for the maximum distance swum by a person in 1 month.

 All the swims were observed and ratified by officials from the Swimming g Association of Maharashtra.

 Anshuman is trained by Shiv Chhatrapati awardee coach Gokul Kamath and Coach Amit Awale at the Fr. Agnels Sports Complex in Vashi. All the swims were piloted by open water swimming coach Shri Kishore Patil.

वर्षभर अवघ्या महाराष्ट्राला हसवणारी हास्यजत्रा नव्या वर्षाचं स्वागतही  प्रेक्षकांच्या मनोरंजनी करणार आहेत. 'महाराष्‍ट्राची हास्‍यजत्रा' न्यू इयर स्पेशल कार्यक्रम प्रेक्षकांना 31 डिसेंबरला रात्री 9 वा. सोनी मराठी वाहिनीवर पाहायला मिळणार आहे. खासदार सांस्कृतिक महोत्सव, नागपूर इथं या कार्यक्रमाचं चित्रीकरण करण्यात आलं. हास्यजत्रेच्या कलाकारांना बघण्‍यासाठी नागपूरकरांनी चांगलीच गर्दी केली होती. 'ही गर्दी नाय, नागपूरकरांचं प्रेम हाय', असं अभिवादन प्राजक्‍ता माळी हिनी खास वऱ्हाडी शैलीत केलं. थेट पण मनानं निर्मळ, सुरात न बोचणारा रांगडेपणा, महाराष्‍ट्रात कार्य व जगभरात हवा करणाऱ्या लोकांचं शहर असलेल्या नागपुरात आल्‍यावर माहेरी आल्‍यासारखं वाटतं, असं सई ताम्हणकर म्‍हणाली.

अंकुश आणि प्राजक्तानी घातलाय 'चायनीज गोंधळ'

करोनाच्या विळख्यात सगळेच कंटाळले होते. याच विळख्यातुन आता आपण बाहेर पडत आहे. बाहेर पडत असताना करोनापासून सरंक्षण करायला आणि त्याच सावट लवकरात लवकर दूर करायला अंकुश आणि प्राजक्ताने एक वेगळीच शक्कल लढवली आहे.

   ही शक्कल म्हणजे त्यांनी घातलाय चायनीज गोंधळ' आता हा चायनीज गोंधळ म्हणजे त्यांच्या आगामी 'लकडाऊन' या चित्रपटांच्या 'च्यावम्याव' या गाण्याच्या निमित्ताने त्यांनी देवाकडे आपल्यावरील हे संकट दुर व्हावं म्हणून गाऱ्हाणं घातलं आहे. नुकतंच हे गाणं आपल्या भेटीला आलं आहे . चीनच्या एका चुकीमुळे संपूर्ण जगाला त्याचे परिणाम भोगावे लागले आणि भविष्यात अशी चूक पुन्हा होऊ नये म्हणून त्यांना संदेश देणारा असा हा पहिला 'इंटरनॅशनल गोंधळ' आहे. हा गोंधळ रविंद्र मठाधिकारी याने शब्दात उतरवला असून त्याला संगीतबद्ध अविनाश विश्वजित या संगीत दिग्दर्शक जोडीने केलंय. आदर्श शिंदे,  विश्वजित जोशी आणि मैथिली पानसे जोशी या गायकाच्या सुरांनी हा गोंधळ सजला आहे. लॉकडाऊनच्या काळात अनेक गोष्टी घडल्या आणि त्याचे परिणाम ही आपण पाहिले आहेत. या लॉकडाऊनच्या काळात अनेकांची लग्न रखडली आणि अनेकांची झाली पण ते सगळेच जिथे होते तिथे अडकले तर अशाच एका लग्नाची गोष्ट 'लकडाऊन' सांगत आहे. लॉकडाऊनच्या मध्ये एका लग्न घरात नेमकं काय काय घडलं असेल याच चित्रण या चित्रपटात आहे. तर या च्यावम्याव या गोंधळाने प्रत्येक भारतीयाच्या मनात असलेली कुणकुण मजेशीर रित्या शब्दात आणि सुरात एकत्र बांधली गेली आहे. या गोंधळाच्या निमित्ताने नृत्य दिग्दर्शिका फुलवा खामकरच्या तालावर अंकुश आणि प्राजक्ता नाचत असून धनंजय कुलकर्णी यांच्या कॅमेऱ्याच्या नजरेतून हा गोंधळ आपल्याला पाहायला मिळतो. २८ जानेवारी ला प्रदर्शित होत असलेल्या या चित्रपटाची निर्मिती शरद सोनवणे, दर्शन फुलपगार,अजित सोनपाटकी आणि सागर फुलपगार यांची असून चित्रपटाचं दिग्दर्शन संतोष मांजरेकर यांनी केलं आहे. चित्रपटाचे लेखक रविंद्र मठाधिकारी यांनी केलं आहे. या चित्रपटाला संगीत अविनाश - विश्वजितच आहे तर संकलन परेश मांजरेकर यांनी केले आहे. चित्रपटाच्या कार्यकारी निर्मितीची धुरा स्मिता खरात यांनी सांभाळली आहे. चित्रपटातील नृत्य फुलवा खामकर यांनी दिग्दर्शित केली असून चित्रपटाचं साउंड रेकॉर्डिग अभिजित देव यांनी केलं आहे.
