Actress Khushi Bharadwaj has come a long way as an actress. Recently her film Tiku weds Sheru got release in OTT. Getting some overwhelming responses from her fans Khushi shares her experience shooting with Bollywood diva Kangana Ranaut, Nawazuddin Siddique and Avneet Kaur.

How did you bag the role of Sana?

I remember I gave an audition for the role and was hoping to get the call.  I waited for a while and one day I was just woken up and got a call from the casting that I have been selected for the role that time I didn’t even know that I will be sharing the screens with big actors like Nawazuddin Siddique sir and Avneet Kaur. A big thanks to (Queen of Bollywood) Kangana Ranaut mam for this opportunity its like a dream come true for me.

 

How was your experience shooting with Kangana Ranaut and Nawazuddin Siddique?

The experience was great, I learned a lot from Kangana mam and Nawaz sir. They both are extremely professional and fun loving at the same time. Yes, I was quite nervous on my first day shoot but Nawaz sir made me feel so comfortable and guided me on how to do my scene best. Also, Kangana mam is one of the most hard-working women I ever met and a boss lady, she was there with me throughout and directed each scene. Tiku weds Sheru was a great learning experience for me.

 

The best thing you like about your character Sana.

Her innocence is something I admire a lot, Khushi and Sana are very similar they are supportive and always stood beside her loved one. In the film it is very interesting to watch the sisterly bond of Sana and Tiku (Avneet Kaur) and ups and downs they face in the city of Mumbai.

 

What you like the most TV or OTT?

I’ll be always thankful to my previous show Balveer. The show has given me name, fame and fans. It’s literally where my journey of an actor began and made the most beautiful memories of my life and got some amazing friends. My OTT debut in Tiku weds Sheru was wonderful and exciting and I never thought that I will get an amazing response from the audience.  Work wise TV becomes little hectic but there is a consistency and in OTT everything depends on the content and the role, so as of now both works for me.

 

You have had a long wait for this film. How is the feeling now?

The feeling is great, and I was amazed by the overwhelming response from my fans, there has been constant Dms and Instagram messages since the release. The film has been on buzz from the start and each character in the film is extremely important and interesting making the film a complete package of entertainment. Thanks to all the audience for their immense support and response.

These include Neha Joshi (Yashoda, Doosri Maa), Yogesh Tripathi (Daroga Happu Singh, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan), and Shubhangi Atre (Angoori Bhabi, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai). Neha Joshi, aka Yashoda from Doosri Maa, shares, “Krishna (Aayudh Bhanushali) is the ultimate prankster on set, who never misses a chance to amuse me with his hilarious pranks and witty jokes. While I prefer being quiet during scenes, he is always in high gear, talking non-stop between breaks. His spot-on mimicking and amusing voiceovers never fail to amuse me and instantly break me into a hearty laugh. Even during emotional scenes, he lightens the mood with jokes, making me smile. Having someone who can make you laugh in any situation is precious, and Aayudh is that person for me. His jokes and pranks keep getting better, and his presence brings so much joy and liveliness. On this International Jokes Day, I am grateful to those who bring much-needed laughter into our lives and keep us spirited.”

 

Yogesh Tripathi, aka Daroga Happu Singh from Happu ki Ultan Paltan, shares, “On International Jokes Day, let's take a moment to appreciate people who bring joy and happiness into our lives with their perfect comic timing. She is the undisputed champ in the comedy realm, making us laugh on-screen and off-screen. Here's to all such genuinely funny people for keeping those funny bones tickled!” Shubhangi Atre, aka Angoori Bhabi from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, shares, “When it comes to pranksters and humour, we are a lively bunch, including yours truly (laughs). But trying to outshine Aasif Ji (aka Vibhuti Narayan Mishra) in the humour department is like trying to catch a slippery fish with your bare hands—impossible! He is the reigning "King of Comedy" on Indian television! Every week, he dives headfirst into these bizarre, hilarious characters that are mind-bogglingly difficult and extraordinarily funny. It is the story of reclusive country folk Bella and Hector who become foster parents to Ricky, a problem child from the city. After some adjustments, things go reasonably well. However, Bella's death means that Hector must now look after Ricky himself, and they haven't been getting along. Her death causes Child Services to decide to send Ricky back to the orphanage. Ricky refuses to go back and runs away, ultimately sparking a national manhunt for him and Hector. On Sunday, at the same time comes Paprika, a fantasy drama. Three scientists at a Foundation for Psychiatric Research fail to secure a device they've invented. This device allows people to record and watch their dreams. A thief uses the device to enter people's minds, when awake, and distract them with their dreams and those of others. Chaos ensues. The trio - Chiba, Tokita, and Shima - assisted by a police inspector and by a sprite named Paprika must try to identify the thief as they ward off the thief's attacks on their psyches. रुपेरी पडद्यावर आलेले काही चेहरे प्रेक्षकांच्या मनावर ठसा उमटवतात. आशा नाडकर्णी या अभिनेत्रीचा प्रभाव याच स्वरुपाचा होता. प्रख्यात दिग्दर्शक व्हि. शांताराम यांनी 'मौसी' या चित्रपटात आशाजी ना प्रथम अभिनेत्रीच्या रुपात काम दिले जेव्हा त्या फक्त १५ वर्षांच्या होत्या. त्यांनी ह्या संधीचे सोने केले आणि नंतर 'नवरंग' सारखे अनेक चित्रपट केले. व्हि.शांताराम यांनी त्यांचे चित्रपटातील नाव 'वंदना' ठेवले होते.

आशा नाडकर्णी मुळच्या सामान्य कुटुंबातील, पुण्यातील सोमवार पेठ येथील सारस्वत कॉलनी मध्ये सुरवातीला राहत होत्या. त्यांचे कुटुंब १९५७ ला मुंबई मध्ये रहावयास आले आणि तेव्हा पासून त्यानी चित्रपटात काम करण्यास सुरुवात केली. त्या उत्तम नर्तिका देखील होत्या १९५७ ते १९७३ ह्या कालावधीत त्यांनी अनेक हिंदी व मराठी चित्रपट केले. अशा गुणी कलाकारचे नुकतेच १९ जून २०२३ रोजी मलबार हिल, दक्षिण मुंबई येथील राहत्या घरी निधन झाले. निधनाची बातमी त्यांचे सुपुत्र यांनी माध्यमास कळवली निधनाच्या वेळी त्यांचे वय ८० वर्षे होते गेली कित्येक वर्षे मूत्रपिंडाच्या आजाराने त्रस्त होत्या आणि डायलिसिसवर होत्या त्यांच्या मागे त्यांचा मुलगा,सून व नातू असा परिवार आहे.

From engaging in the peaceful practice of offering Namaz to cherishing precious moments with beloved family and friends, every detail of the occasion has been meticulously planned. The actor's heart brims with nostalgia as he fondly recalls the extravagant and unforgettable Eid celebrations held in his ancestral home nestled in the vibrant city of Varanasi. Speaking of Eid festivities, the actor joyfully shares, "The magic of festivals in small towns and cities is simply enchanting! Witnessing the heartfelt dedication and efforts put into making the day truly extraordinary is a delight in itself. Varanasi holds a special place in my heart as it is my parents' ancestral home, and I have such vivid memories of the grand celebrations at our beloved Dada ji's Haveli. Our family was large, and we warmly welcomed relatives and friends from near and far, creating a joyful gathering of hundreds.
