Friendship's Day is celebrated to recall all the memories you have shared with your friends and the times where you promised each other to keep your bond intact forever. A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been and accepts what you have become. On this Friendship’s Day, here are some of our &TV artists remembering their valuable friends and sharing how they plan to surprise them in spite of their busy working schedules.  

Prakruti Mishra a.k.a Bitti of Bitti Business Wali

“I am fortunate to have found some of the most caring friends in my life. One of my closest friends is Lipsa, who has sacrificed a lot for me. I believe true friendship multiplies the good in life and divides the evil. I'm usually on a tight shoot schedule on most days which hardly leaves me enough time to meet her. Given this situation, she left her job and shifted to Mumbai. Friendship's Day to me is simply celebrating the friends we have in life. I plan to take half the day off from my shoot to spend time with her and take a nostalgic trip down memory lane, especially our childhood days.” 

Rahul Sharma a.k.a Vishesh of Mitegi Lakshman Rekha

“My closest friend dates back to school, which is in my hometown Dausa, Rajasthan, I have known him for 15 years now. We have always tried to stay connected over calls and frequently try to meet despite our busy schedules. Since Friendship’s Day is all about celebrating the spirit of friendship, I would like to send a small video to him emphasizing the number of times he has stood by me during my struggles. There is another close friend of mine, Sankalp Sharma who stays in Mumbai, I would love to surprise him too. He is usually busier than I am on my shoot days. Maybe for a change, I would like to take him out for dinner and give him a break from his hectic work life!”

Ankit Gera a.k.a Anurag of Agnifera

“My best buddies and the ones that I share a really tight bond with have always been my school friends. I wouldn't mention a specific name as they're all special to me. Most of them have moved to Dubai and are busy with their jobs. Though if given a chance I would like to meet these chaddi buddies and enjoy a drink or two with them. This Friendship’s Day, I want to surprise a friend who is very close to my heart, Samrat. He has been there for me through thick and thin. I would like to buy him a guitar as a gift since he is a musician and that too a brilliant one.” 

Abhishek Bajaj a.k.a Mahi of Bitti Business Wali

“Rashmi Desai is my closest pal in the industry. She is the kind of friend everyone should have. We have spent the best of times together and made endless memories that we truly cherish. But it’s been long since we last met and I would really like to catch up with her and do something fun. Another really sweet friend is Sumeet Samnani, we have been friends for the longest time. He is more like a brother, someone I can tease and fool around with. And since he doesn’t have a girlfriend, this Friendship’s Day I’d like to surprise him by setting up a blind date.”
