Exclusive Release - Shameer Tandon’s “Paad Song”

 Music composer Shameer Tandon’s latest single “Paad Song” was recently released on Saregama’s YouTube channel. The Fart Song (Paad Song) is a fun & quirky track conceived and  composed by Shameer Tandon, sung by the vocal-scientist Chetan Sashital & also Dean Sequeira, written by Abhinav Nagar. It is being released by one of the most prestigious labels of our country - Saregama Music. Farting is an essential & healthy aspect of a person's life so why shy away from it? We bring this quirky idea to life in the best way we can - through a music video!

Shameer Tandon is a music composer who is known to use music as a tool to spread awareness of various causes in society. He is the only person globally who has repeatedly taken huge issues and communicated and changed the minds of people and made them more conducive to certain things which comes with it's own stereotype. It all started with him doing an album with transgenders who are loosely called Hijras in our community and who we always see in a very demeaning manner and have insulted that community but Shameer through his music has created awareness that they are all equal children of God and need the adequate respect which every other human needs. Shameer is the only composed to won the Grand Prix Glass Lion from South Asia. The song was also showcased in France which is the highest honor. He also composed a series of songs to spread awareness on mental health.

This time around Shameer has taken the issue of fart and everybody laughs and makes it a mockery says Shameer that we should still continue to laugh if it just brings a smile to our face but never feel shy as farting is the healthiest thing a body needs to do to keep fit and farting is a global phenomenal and everywhere in the world people fart, there is no one who doesn't fart, knowingly or unknowingly people fart and this is gender agnostic. Through a fun filled song and through children Shameer has created a danceable track where everybody can dance and proudly say that 'we fart'.

Shameer Tandon is a music composer best known for his music for the National Award winning trilogy with Madhur Bhandarkar - Page 3, Corporate & Traffic Signal amongst others. Apart from his film journey, Shameer has done pathbreaking work in the non-film space as well. From curating the Cannes Grand Prix Glass Lion winning 6 Pack Band which is a transgender band to the 6 Pack Band 2.0 which is a band of kids with special needs & mental health issues. Now he has come up with another fun & quirky number which is about the most essential activity of a human body.
