Celebrating Women Change-makers: Aloft New Delhi Aerocity Sets The Tone With A Special Edition Of WEF (Women Economic Forum) Awards 2018

New Delhi, 4^th August 2018: The newly opened urban luxe hotel in Aerocity, Aloft New Delhi Aerocity, held up to its uniqueness by starting off its seasons’ events with a star studded gala gathering in honor of an exclusive edition of the Women Economic Forum (WEF) Awards 2018. The special edition of WEF Awards 2018 witnessed over 200 leaders and entrepreneurs from across India. माझा जवळचा मित्र म्हणजे थेट शाळेतला, राजस्थानमधील माझ्या दौसा गावातला. मी त्याला गेली १५ वर्षं ओळखतोय. आम्ही फोनवरून नेहमीच एकमेकांच्या संपर्कात असतो आणि व्यस्त वेळापत्रकातूनही भेटण्यासाठी वेळ काढतो. फेंडशीप डे म्हणजे मैत्रीचा गाभा साजरा करणं. म्हणूनच मी त्याला एक व्हिडिओ बनवून पाठवणार आहे. ज्यात मी त्याला सांगणार आहे की माझ्या स्ट्रगलच्या काळात तो कितीतरी वेळा माझ्या पाठीशी खंबीर उभा राहिला आहे. आणखी एक मित्र आहे संकल्प शर्मा. तो मुंबईत राहतो. मी त्यालाही सरप्राइज देणार आहे. मी चित्रीकरणात जितका व्यस्त असतो त्याही पेक्षा अधिक तो व्यस्त असतो. त्यामुळे, नेहमीच्या दिनक्रमात बदल म्हणून मी कदाचित त्याला डिनरला घेऊन जाईन आणि त्याच्या प्रचंड व्यस्त कामाच्या आयुष्यातून त्याला थोडा ब्रेक देईन.

माझे जवळचे मित्र आणि ज्यांच्यासोबत माझं अगदी घट्ट नातं आहे ते सगळे माझे शाळेतले मित्र आहेत. मी कोणा एकाचं नाव नाही घेणार कारण ते सगळेच माझ्यासाठी खास आहेत. त्यातले अनेक जण दुबईला राहतात आणि कामात फारच व्यस्त असतात. पण संधी मिळाली तर 'चड्डी बडीज' सोबत बसून एखादं दोन ड्रिंक घ्यायला मला आवडेल. या फ्रेंडशिप डेनिमित्त माझ्या अतिशय जीवलग अशा सम्राट या मित्राला मला सरप्राइज द्यायचं आहे. माझ्या बऱ्या-वाईट सर्व प्रसंगांत तो माझ्यासोबत होता. तो एक अतिशय प्रतिभावान संगीतकार आहे. मी त्याला गिटार घेऊन देणार आहे.

“I am fortunate to have found some of the most caring friends in my life. One of my closest friends is Lipsa, who has sacrificed a lot for me. I believe true friendship multiplies the good in life and divides the evil. I'm usually on a tight shoot schedule on most days which hardly leaves me enough time to meet her. Given this situation, she left her job and shifted to Mumbai. Friendship's Day to me is simply celebrating the friends we have in life. I plan to take half the day off from my shoot to spend time with her and take a nostalgic trip down memory lane, especially our childhood days.”
