Tourism Minister Mr. Ajgaonkar welcomes onset of charter season:-Tourism season officially commences in Goa today

Panaji, September 4 : Hon'ble  Minister for Tourism, Govt of Goa, Mr. Manohar Ajgaonkar  today welcomed

 the first charter flight from Russia to Goa stating that this arrival officially commenced the tourism season 

for2018-19. Mr. Manohar Ajgaonkar today said, ''We are delighted that the number of direct  flights from 

Russia to Goa are increasing and each flight will bring in good number of  passengers. The safety and security of tourists will always be given top priority and I am sure that they will definitely have an exciting holiday this tourism season."

The first charter flight from Russia  arrived at the Goa International Airport, Dabolim, today marking the beginning  of tourist season in Goa for the year 2018-19. Rossiya airlines  brought its first charter flight 

of Russian tourists to Goa at around 5.15 hrs with  522 passengers.

A team of officials from Department of Tourism, Government of Goa and the Goa Tourism Development Corporation welcomed the tourists at the GoaAirport. The tourists were presented with roses and sweets 

and were greetedwith a brass band and musical entertainment
