"Chhatrapati Shasan" ...making you aware of the thoughts of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj...

Instead of showing the shallow love for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by just raising slogans of 'Jai Bhavani', 'Jai Shivaji', today there is need to uphold his ideals, thoughts and values. The film depicting his exact standpoint, 'Chhatrapati Shasan', is releasing on 15th March in entire Maharashtra. Produced by Prabodhan Films and Sawai Martand, and directed by Khushal Mhetre, film 'Chhatrapati Shasan' is a production of Utkarsh Kudale, Priyanka Kagle and Khushal Mhetre. This film will rightfully guide today's generation towards the Shivshahi (Shivaji's rule).

Recently the music inauguration ceremony was conducted. The Director of the film Khushal Mhetre described the journey of film’s production and direction in an interesting way. Mhetre said, “the film Chhatrapati Shasan is an art dedicated by the Shiv Bhakts to the Hind Bhakts.” Life of Maharaj spanned about 18306 days, what we can learn exactly from it? What wisdom we can gather? This film narrates the principles of the great warrior Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Instead of worshiping symbols, images and idols or enthusiastically raising slogans of 'Jai Shivaji', this film gives an actual message of how and what Shivaji Maharaj established through his wisdom by his bravery and thoughts.” Co-Producer Amar Pawar announced that 10 percent from the total income of the film will be donated to the Indian Army in the wake of Pulwama terror attack.

All four songs in the film are of different kinds. Remarkably, music of each song in the film is directed by a different music director. A very inspiring and energetic ballad 'Shivba Chhatrapati' is sung, written and music directed by Nandesh Umap. Music of item song 'Mishiwala Pahuna' in the amazing voice of Janhavi Prabhu-Arora directed by Rohit Nagbhide. Both songs are penned down by Dr. Vinayak Pawar. Splendid Lavani 'Vadhiv Distay Rao' in the spicy rural voice of singer Urmila Dhangar, is written by Deepak Gaikwad and music composed by Sachin Avghade. Striking feature of this Lavani is that, this Lavani is performed by a male artist donning a female costume. Song which weaves around the story of the film and adds spice into it, 'Mard Marathyacha Por'... is sung, written and music directed by Abhijit Jadhav and Rajan Sarvade. Actor Makarand Deshpande while speaking about the film said that, “there have been many films on the life of Shivaji Maharaj. This is the first experience for me. My role as Professor Samar in the film presents the ideology of Shivaji Maharaj. Today’s youth needs more convincing than imposing, which the film Chhatrapati Shasan exactly does.” The cast of the film also includes actors Santosh Juvekar, Kishore Kadam, Abhijit Chavhan, Prashant Mohite, Anil Nagarkar, Sayali Kale, Prathamesh Joshi, Shreyaschandra Gaikwad, Vishnu Kedar, Parag Shah, Abhay Mishra, Dhanashree Yadav, Kiran Kore, Rahul Belapurkar, Sayali Paradkar, Ramchandra Dhumal, Milind Jadhav and Jaydeep Shinde. The film also features child actors Shrisha Mhetre, Romit Bhujabal, Rajvardhan Dhusanis and Reva Jain. The film is directed by Khushal Mhetre and he himself has written the story and dialogues, while the script is written by Kamalesh Bhandwalkar. Filming is done by Sunil Borkar, Nishant Bhagwat and Yogesh Koli, while the editing is done by Chetan Sagade, Art direction by Nitesh Nadgaonkar and Anand Sathe, costumes by Prathamesh Mandhare, set design by Pinto Kolhapure and dance direction is done by Bhakti Naik.

We proudly carry and hail the label of 'Shivbhakts' for ourselves, but the only question that arises is, do we actually live by his ideals? Follow them? Speak for them? शिवाजी महाराजांच्या विचारांची जाणीव करून देणारा "छत्रपती शासन" 

नुसतंच जय भवानी, जय शिवाजीचा जयघोष करून छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांवरील उथळ प्रेम दाखविण्यापेक्षा त्यांच्या आदर्शांची, विचारांची आणि तत्त्वांची कास धरण्याची आता गरज आली आहे. त्यांची नेमकी भूमिका मांडणारा 'छत्रपती शासन' सिनेमा येत्या १५ मार्च रोजी संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्रात प्रदर्शित होणार आहे. प्रबोधन फिल्म्स आणि सवाई मार्तंड निर्मित आणि खुशाल म्हेत्रे दिग्दर्शित 'छत्रपती शासन' सिनेमा उत्कर्ष कुदळे, प्रियांका कागले, खुशाल म्हेत्रे यांची निर्मिती आहे. आजच्या तरुणाईला हा चित्रपट शिवशाही बद्दल अचूक मार्गदर्शन करणारा आहे. नुकताच या सिनेमाचा संगीत अनावरण सोहळा पार पडला. या प्रसंगी सिनेमाचे दिग्दर्शक खुशाल म्हेत्रे यांनी या सिनेमाच्या निमिर्तीचा आणि दिग्दर्शनाचा प्रवास अतिशय मनोरंजनात्मक पद्धतीने मांडला. यावेळेस म्हेत्रे म्हणाले छत्रपती शासन सिनेमा म्हणजे शिव भक्तांची हिंद भक्तांसाठी अर्पण केलेली कलाकृती आहे. तरुणाईला उद्देशून ते म्हणाले हल्ली आपल्याला प्रश्न पडणे थांबले आहे. मला प्रश्न पडला, महाराजांचे आयुष्य १८३०६ दिवसांचे होते, त्यातून नेमके काय शिकायचे ? काय बोध घ्यायचा? या पडलेल्या प्रश्नाचं उत्तर म्हणजेच छत्रपती शासन हा चित्रपट आहे.

प्रतिकांची, प्रतिमांची, पुतळ्यांची पूजा करण्यापेक्षा किंवा जय शिवाजी जोशात म्हणण्यापेक्षा शिवाजी महाराज नक्की काय म्हणतात हे सांगण्याचा प्रयत्न या चित्रपटामार्फत केला गेला आहे. छत्रपती शासन सिनेमाच्या एकूण उत्पन्नाचा १० टक्के भाग हा भारतीय सेनेला देण्यात येणार आहे अशी घोषणा सह निर्माते अमर पवार यांनी या वेळेस केली. 

सिनेमातील चारही गाणी वेगळ्या धाटणीची आहेत. विशेष म्हणजे सिनेमातील प्रत्येक गाण्याचं संगीत  दिग्दर्शन वेगवेगळ्या संगीत दिग्दर्शकांनी केलं आहे. अतिशय प्रेरक आणि स्फूर्ती देणारा 'शिवबा छत्रपती'... हा पोवाडा नंदेश उमप यांनी गायला, लिहिला आणि संगीत दिग्दर्शित देखील केला आहे. गायिका जान्हवी प्रभू-अरोरा हिच्या भन्नाट आवाजातील 'मिशीवाला पाहुणा'... या आयटम सॉंगचं संगीत दिग्दर्शन रोहित नागभिडे यांचं आहे. या दोन्ही गाण्यांना डॉ विनायक पवार यांनी शब्धबद्ध केलं आहे. गायिका उर्मिला धनगर हिच्या गावरान ठसकेबाज आवाजातील 'वाढीव दिसताय राव;... ही धमाकेदार लावणी दीपक गायकवाड यांनी लिहिली असून सचिन अवघडे यांनी संगीतबद्ध केली आहे. या लावणीचं विशेष म्हणजे एका पुरुष कलाकाराने स्त्री वेशभूषा परिधान करत ही लावणी सादर केली आहे. सिनेमाची कथा गुंफणारं आणि रंगत वाढवणारं 'मर्द मराठ्यांचं पोर'... हे गाणं अभिजीत जाधव आणि राजन सरवदे यांनी गायन, लेखन, संगीत दिग्दर्शित केलं आहे. या चित्रपटातील अभिनेते मकरंद देशपांडे मनोगत व्यक्त करताना म्हणाले, छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांच्या आयुष्यावर आतापर्यंत अनेक सिनेमे झाले आहेत. माझ्यासाठी हा पहिलाच अनुभव आहे. सिनेमातील माझी प्राध्यापक समर ही भूमिका महाराजांची विचारधारा मांडणारी आहे. आजच्या तरुणाईचा कान पिळण्यापेक्षा त्यांना जाणीव करून देण्याची गरज आहे जी छत्रपती शासन सिनेमा पूर्ण करतो. याच बरोबर या सिनेमात अभिनेता संतोष जुवेकर, किशोर कदम, अभिजित चव्हाण, प्रशांत मोहिते, अनिल नगरकर, सायली काळे, प्रथमेश जोशी, श्रेयसचंद्र गायकवाड, विष्णू केदार, पराग शाह, अभय मिश्रा, धनश्री यादव, किरण कोरे, राहुल बेलापूरकर,सायली पराडकर, रामचंद्र धुमाळ, मिलिंद जाधव आणि जयदीप शिंदे यांच्या भूमिका आहेत. तसेच श्रीशा म्हेत्रे, रोमित भूजबळ, राजवर्धन धुसानीस, रेवा जैन ही बालकलाकार मंडळी देखील दिसणार आहेत. या सिनेमाची कथा आणि संवाद देखील खुशाल म्हेत्रे यांचेच आहेत. तर पटकथा कमलेश भांडवलकर यांची आहे. सुनील बोरकर, निशांत भागवत आणि योगेश कोळी यांनी सिनेमाचं छायांकन केलं आहे तसेच संकलन चेतन सागडे, कलादिग्दर्शन नितेश नांदगावकर, आंनद साठे, वेशभूषा प्रथमेश मांढरे, रंगभूषा पिंटो सोलापूरे, नृत्यदिग्दर्शन भक्ती नाईक यांचं आहे.

आपण शिवभक्त आहोत असं अभिमानाने मिरवितो, छातीठोकपणे सांगतो, पण आपण त्यांच्या आदर्शाप्रमाणे वागतो का ? चालतो का? बोलतो का? सगळ्यात महत्वाचे विचार करतो का? याचे उत्तर आपण स्वतःच शोधण्यासाठी  हा चित्रपट ..! छत्रपती शासन..!

Vikrant Anand who has acted in many Hindi and South films recently received peace award from Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh at a award function in New Delhi. His role in Hindi film Dosti Ke side effectss was well appreciated by critics and audience. Apart from acting he also do lot of social work. He said - I am feeling very happy for receiving this award. I will try to do more social work .He also said that I am so lucky that I got a chance to meet our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at a event in New Delhi. He has signed two new Hindi Films which will go on floor in the month of May 2019.

या मालिकेतील मध्यवर्ती भूमिकेविषयी हप्पू सिंग साकारणारे योगेश त्रिपाठी म्हणाले, "हप्पू की उलटन पलटन म्हणजे एक प्रकारे माझी स्वप्नपूर्तीच आहे. मी हप्पू सिंग साकारण्यास सुरुवात केली तेव्हा कल्पनाही केली नव्हती की प्रेक्षकांच्या मनात माझ्यासाठी खास स्थान निर्माण होईल. एक संपूर्ण मालिका हप्पू सिंग या व्यक्तिरेखेवर आधारित असावी, हे माझ्यासाठी स्वप्नवत आहे. अशी अप्रतिम संधी मिळाल्याबद्दल आभार मानण्यास शब्दही अपुरे पडतील. मला इतके प्रेम दिल्याबद्दल मी प्रेक्षकांचा आभारी आहे आणि हप्पू सिंग की पलटनवर ही ते असेच भरभरून प्रेम करतील, अशी आशा आहे. हप्पू आणि त्याच्या कुटुंबातील अनोख्या गोष्टींनी प्रेक्षकांना आम्ही हसवू शकू, अशी आशा आहे."

या मालिकेतील आपल्या भूमिकेविषयी हिमानी शिवपुरी म्हणाल्या, "हप्पू की उलटन पलटन'मध्ये मी हप्पूची आई म्हणजेच कटोरी अम्माची भूमिका साकारतेय. मला या भूमिकेविषयी विचारण्यात आलं तेव्हाच मला माहीत होतं की व्यक्तिरेखा बाजी मारणार. त्यामुळे, होकार देताना मी फारसा विचार केला नाही. प्रेक्षकांना आनंद देणे,त्यांना हसायला लावणे, हा फार मोठा सन्मान असतो. शिवाय, अशा छान टीमसोबत काम करताना आनंदात भरच पडते. कटोरी अम्मा ही कुटुंबप्रमुख आहे. ती काहीशी हटवादीही आहे. आपल्या नऊ नातवंडांसाठी ती प्रेमळ आजी आहे. मात्र, सुनेसोबत तिचे सतत खटके उडत असतात.  आनंददायी कथानक, विनोदी पटकथा आणि कटोरी अम्मा व इतर व्यक्तीरेखांमधील गमतीशीर नातं यामुळे प्रेक्षकांना धमाला मनोरंजन मिळणार आहे, हे नक्की. विनोद आणि नाट्याने भरलेल्या या आनंदसफरीचा भाग होण्यासाठी झी फॅमिली पॅक घेण्याचे आवाहन मी &TVच्या चाहत्यांना करत आहे."

विनोदाच्या जगात पाऊल ठेवतानाच्या अनुभवाबद्दल हप्पूच्या पत्नीची भूमिका साकरणाऱ्या कामना पाठक म्हणाल्या, "मला फार काळापासून विनोदी भूमिका साकारायची होती. हा प्रवास सुरू करण्यासाठी हप्पू की पलटनपेक्षा चांगली मालिका दुसरी असू शकत नाही. नावाप्रमाणे आगळीवेगळी असलेली राजेश म्हणजे हप्पू सिंगची दबंग बायको आहे. ती तशी मृदू स्वभावाची वाटत असली तरी ती कुठेही भांडू शकणारी एक धाडसी स्त्री आहे. मला वाटतं राजेशला स्वत:चं असं एक व्यक्तीमत्त्व आहे. यातून प्रेक्षकांचं मनोरंजन होणार आहेच. शिवाय, प्रत्येक हाऊस वाइफ स्वत:ला तिच्याशी जोडून पाहू शकेल. आमची टीमही फार छान आहे. आशा आहे की,प्रेक्षकांना आमचं काम आवडेल.''

Goa all set for Carnaval 2019 from 2^nd-5^th March

Grape Escapade Food & Lifestyle  Festival from 28^th Feb–3^rd March 2019

Panjim  Feb 27: The time to sway to the beats of the ramba samba and enjoy four days of fun and fiesta at Carnaval is round the corner.

The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa presents the highly anticipated, Goa Carnaval from 2^nd to 5th March 2019. The float parade will be flagged off on Saturday, 2^nd March in the capital city of Goa – Panaji.

After  a successful show of the parade on the new route in Panjim, the float parade in the capital city  will continue  to be held from  Miramar to Dona  Paula. On Saturday,2^nd March  the float parade in Panjim will be flagged off at the hands of Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Mr.  Manohar Ajgaonkar at 4 pm in the presence of other dignitaries.

The state is expecting to receive an overwhelming response for the Carnaval celebrations this year. The event will be managed by M/s Vinayak Decorators. A special Carnaval  song was today release by Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Mr.  Manohar Ajgaonkar during a press conference  held today. The song is  composed/mixed & mastered by Mukesh Ghatwal and lyrics by  Roque Lazaruz and Mukesh Ghatwal. The singers are Queeni Fernandes and Mukesh Ghatwal.

Days ahead of carnaval, all the centres across Goa are being adorned with colourful buntings, banners, masks and themed décor. During the vibrant 4 day Carnaval, float parades will take place at major cities in Goa; Panaji (2nd  March), Margao (3^rd March), Vasco, (4th March) and Mapusa (5th March). As far as the float parades in the minor cities, the parade in Ponda  & Curchorem will be held on 4^th March and Morjim  & Shiroda on 5^th March.

This year, William Anes, (53) from Panjim, has been chosen to lead the Carnaval Parades as ‘King Momo’. Anes has been in the entertainment  industry for several years and has participated in previous carnaval festivities as a dancer. King Momo is a mythological figure, who is symbolic when it comes to carnaval celebrations and he will declare the decree of “Eat, Drink and Make Merry” during his 4 day reign. The parade will showcase diverse participants under various categories, displaying different themes and messages. The total prize money for the float competitions has been pegged at Rs. 54.40 lakh and  infrastructure costs  to all centers at Rs 1.09 crore.

The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa presents Goa's premier food & lifestyle festival, the Grape Escapade. The much-awaited Grape Escapade is a celebration of the finest of everything - food, fashion and entertainment. The 4-day festival brings together a host of professionals from the tourism & hospitality industry; hoteliers, restaurateurs, wineries and manufacturers to showcase their premium offerings. The Grape Escapade takes place from 28^th February to 3^rd March 2019 at D.B. Bandodkar Grounds, Campal, Panaji. The event is managed by Vinsan World.

The Grape Escapade 2019 will showcase more than 40 exhibitors which include wineries comprising of International, National and Local wine producers. An exciting line up of entertainment acts will ensure that visitors at the festival feel the vibrancy and spirit of the event. A dazzling Fashion show by Anusha Shaikh, pulsating variety entertainment, mesmerizing dance routines by Dance-o-Philia and Goa Institute of Performing Arts (GIPA), and musical performances by Shine On Duo – Sidney & Silvina, Raul with Raggas 2 Riches, BandWagon, Pure Magic, Carlos & Friends, Alcatrazz, Crimson Tide and The Coffee Cats will add a groovy essence to the Grape EscapadeExperience.

Some of the highlights of the festival will include the traditional Grape stomping, the crowning of the Grape Escapade Queen where the winners have a chance to win exclusive gift vouchers, hampers and lots more. Certified Sommelier and Connoisseur, John D’Souza who is affiliated with the Wines & Spirits Education Trust London, UK will conduct an exclusive tasting session on 1^st March 2019.

Goa Tourism bags two prestigious India Today Tourism Awards

Adjudged as Best State and Best Beaches/Coastal Destination (Palolem)

Panjim, Feb 27: Goa has been recognized as ‘Best State – Travellers’ Choice’ and ‘Best Beaches/Coastal Destination (Palolem- Goa)’ at the India Today Tourism Survey & Awards 2019.

The Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Govt.  Of Goa, Mr. Manohar Ajgaonkar today hailed Goa Tourism’s achievement. He said, “I have always been reinforcing the fact that Goa is the top tourist destination in India and we have taken several measures to ensure that remains at the top across all parameters which includes safety of tourists, cleanliness and hygiene, infrastructure development, new tourism initiatives and more.”

Mr. Ajgaonkar’s jubilant reaction comes soon after Goa Tourism was presented with the two prestigious India Today Tourism awards by Mr.  K J Alphons, the Hon’ble  Union Minister of State for Tourism (Independent Charge), in New Delhi this Monday.

Best state for travel: While beaches are the mainstay of Goa’s tourism landscape, the state has a lot to offer in terms of culture, adventure, wellness and more. Goa has the finest, most well-maintained beaches in India. And what makes it so special is that each beach has a distinct personality. The north and south are as different as chalk and cheese in terms of topography, food and activities on offer. Goa is for the tourist who loves nature, enjoys the sunny beaches, is a foodie, loves art, wants to study its brilliant architecture,  or tour of a spice or cashew estate. In recent times, the state has also emerged as a destination for spiritual seekers as its natural beauty and Zen personality attracts yoga lovers and alternative medical practitioners by the dozens.

Best beach or coastal destination: Palolem beach, located in southern Goa, emerged as the most favoured beach in India, given its location, natural beauty and the range of activities on offer. It has been described as one beach that caters to both families and backpackers. Palolem has held its position as one of the finest beaches in Goa because of the diversity in experiences it offers: Its bamboo hut shacks, locals selling their colourful wares, yoga, spirituality etc.

The India Today Tourism Awards 2019 recognises popular travel destinations and attractions across the country in a range of categories. This year it commissioned market research company IPSOS to sample opinion through online and offline surveys in 10 urban locations from all corners of India. The list of winners reflects the public thirst for variety: From thronging beaches to mountain wild­er­nesses, and from riverbanks to highways. To keep things interesting, it also introduced some novel categories, such as 'Iconic Landscapes' and 'Scenic Roads’.

Jaya Prada says, “Our society grooms girls, but fails to produce good husbands”

Jaya Prada’s television debut show Perfect Pati on &TV posed some hard-hitting questions to its viewers when it started. Can an ideal son also be an ideal husband? What happens when a newly married woman realises her husband is not the man she expected him to be? It interestingly answered these questions through its strong narrative over the months. Not just did it give a refreshing perspective to the quintessential saas-bahu equation, but also changed perceptions of how a woman should deal with a troubled marriage and partner.

The show in a dramatic turn of events, will see Rajyashree Rathod played by Jaya Prada, killing her own son Pushkar (Ayush Anand) in a bid to do the right thing and serve justice to her daughter-in-law Vidhita (Sana Amin Sheikh).  Rajyashree had long known that her son and daughter-in-law had trouble in their marriage. But it has now come to light that her son under his psychotic behaviour had tried to kill Vidhita, the woman he claimed to love. The shocking climax where Rajyashree shoots her own son with a gun is sure to cause ripples, but also sends a strong message to the society at large and mothers in particular on the topic of raising their sons well.

Talking about this unconventional concept and the bold move the writers have taken with the story, Jaya Prada said, “I am glad that I made my television debut with Perfect Pati, a show that portrayed a mother and her role as a mother-in-law in such strong positive light. It is imperative that mothers should understand their child’s behaviour and not blindly support the wrongdoings or faults in their sons. Indian society has spent centuries grooming girls to be future good wives (sanskari bahus), yet often failing to produce good husbands who deserve them. Girls while growing up are being conditioned to feel that they have to accept their husbands any way,  even at times cater to their extreme behaviour in their marriages. It is imperative for mothers to imbibe values in their sons right from their childhood to respect a woman and her choices. I am happy and proud that &TV has taken such a strong stance and given this message through my show.”

Further adding on the highpoint, she said, “Rajyashree loved her son, but she refused to stand-up for his bizarre behaviour and injustice against Vidhita. This a huge turning point as she chooses right over wrong and takes a drastic step though viewers will see the reasoning behind this move.”

This is surely one climax that will be worth watching!
