MUMBAI REGIONAL MAHILA CONGRESS INITIATED BEACH CLEANING DRIVE AT JUHU CHOWPATTY

Ganesh Chaturthi might have been over, but traces of the festival were visible on Juhu beach the next day. After bidding farewell to lord Ganesh, Mumbai Regional Mahila Congress came forward to initiates Beach Cleaning Drive.

Juhu beach was life in a mess. Debris of Ganesha idols laid strewn across Mumbai's beaches.   Gurpreet Kaur Chadha, Dr. Ajanta Yadav, Lizaa Malik & many dignitaries picked up the left over's and ensured that it doesn't harm out environment and beaches.

" Cleaning the beach is like cleaning your own house. We had started this initiative, because it is necessary, as we always see in the news how much pollution is caused after Ganpati Visarjan. My only request is that people should use eco-friendly Ganpati idols" says Dr. Ajanta Yadav.
