Actors unveil the new age parenting mantra!

Actors unveil the new age parenting mantra!

The role of parents is paramount in shaping a child's life, exerting a profound influence on their development. National Parents' Day is an annual celebration that promotes responsible parenting and encourages parents to provide positive reinforcement for their children. On this special day, television artists and real-life parents from &TV discuss the vital importance of parenting in today's world, shedding light on its significance and impact. These include Mohit Dagga (Ashok, Doosri Maa), Yogesh Tripathi (Daroga Happu Singh, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan), and Shubhangi Atre (Angoori Bhabhi, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai)Mohit Dagga, aka Ashok from Doosri Maa, shares, “Navigating the complexities of contemporary parenting while striving to be a positive influence and role model for my daughter can present formidable challenges. Nonetheless, I find great fulfillment in this journey. At home, I consciously foster a nurturing environment where the demonstration of appropriateness, respect, honesty, kindness, and tolerance holds greater efficacy than simply dictating what my daughter, Ashwika, should or shouldn't do. To cultivate her character, I encourage acts of selflessness without expecting rewards and emphasize the importance of expressing gratitude. However, above all else, I firmly believe that open and honest communication is the cornerstone of any successful relationship. As such, I endeavor to establish a friendship with Ashwika before assuming the role of a parent, allowing me to gain a deeper understanding of her world.”

Yogesh Tripathi, aka Daroga Happu Singh from Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shares, “As parents, our unwavering desire is to provide our children with the very best. In today's fast-paced world, striking a harmonious balance between embracing modern parenting practices and dedicating quality time to our kids holds equal significance. Despite the demanding nature of my schedule, I steadfastly refuse to compromise when carving out time for my children. I must take periodic breaks, setting aside days to be fully present with them. Furthermore, I make a deliberate effort to arrange family trips, enabling our children to build strong bonds with us, their grandparents, and other relatives. As a parent, we must invest our time and undivided attention in our children rather than relying on material possessions such as phones or PlayStations. Indeed, the most priceless gift we can ever bestow upon them is our presence and quality time together.” Shubhangi Atre, aka Angoori Bhabi in &TV’s Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, shares, In the contemporary world we inhabit, relying solely on traditional parenting methods is insufficient. Life is characterized by change, so we must embrace flexibility in all aspects, including our approach to parenting. From the moment Ashi entered this world, an overwhelming sense of responsibility washed over me, and I embraced it wholeheartedly. Love intertwines with responsibility, bestowing upon it a profound beauty. As a modern parent, I fervently desire Ashi to flourish and cultivate her individuality. I eschew the notion of imposing my value system upon her and instead strive to foster an environment where she can confidently explore her beliefs and identity. Above all, I want her to know I will forever stand by her side. A parent in this new era should embody the roles of mentor, friend, guide, and attentive listener, prioritizing these facets of the relationship above all else.”

Tune in to Doosri Maa at 8:00 pm, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan at 10:00 pm, and Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai at 10:30 pm, airing every Monday to Friday only on &TV!
