D.I.S.C.O Fever
of
70’s and 80’s In Mumbai
Sunday evening (7th Aug) at St Andrews was a celebration of disco culture, music, dance and fashion, as Silly Point Productions took you on a ride down memory lane. Over two hours of rocking, foot tapping, on your feet, tribute to’70s and 80’s performed by vocalists Nathan Miles, Hormuz Ragina, Naquita D’souza, Stephanie D’souza, who gave their best in bringing out the magic of disco hits and paying tribute to some of their favorite artists. They were supported by keyboardist Brent Tauro, guitarist Sidharth Shankar, drummer Danesh Khambata and bassist Adil Kurva.
From the funky opening of Donna Summer’s ‘I Feel Love’, ‘Stayin’ Alive; to medleys of Boney M, Michael Jackson and ABBA, to Gloria Gaynor ‘I Will survive’, D.I.S.C.O and YMCA among many other disco tracks, it was an electrifying high-energy show for all those who loved DISCO and wanted to have the best night of their life.
